I just saw a video of him today playing recently at the age of 82 and he can still bring it.

I saw him in 2005 in London and he was great then, 30 years later than the image. I bought a couple if his CDs after the show, great records too.

The 2nd half of "Too Rolling Stoned" is total guitar bliss.

He opened with that song last Friday night. It caught the audiences attention. Definitely a appreciative crowd.

I gotta see Robin before the Reaper takes him! I snoozed on Jeff Beck tickets, still kicking myself

I met him in the late ‘80’s he was staying at the holiday inn I worked at in Boise. I bartended a little poolside bar and deli. He bought some food and maybe a beer. I had no idea who he was. He just seemed a little bored and wanted to make some conversation so we chatted for quite a while about Boise and so on. He made mention that he was in a band that was playing nearby. Told me to stop by, he would put me on the guest list. It was kind of on my way home so I said yeah that sounds kind of fun. Maybe I’ll see you there. Again no idea who it was. It wasn’t till I went to the show and they introduced him. I was like holy cow I didn’t know he was Robin Trower. Just the nicest most down to earth the guy you’d ever meet. He seemed quite young back then. I guess we all were.
