Humour How big is muffins house? Lmao

In the faceytalk episode she is running from Stripe in their house. She runs past 18 doors and three right hallways lol. Unless they have a huge courtyard and she’s running in circles, their house must be nuts.

Houses to children ages 3 to maybe 8, can seem enormous when they're little.

I moved away from my child hood house at 14 and moved to a completely different place.

When I went back at like 30 to the zone, walking around was mind-blowing because I remember big walls and big sidewalk and nowadays I see how small everything was.

Accurate. I remember me and my 15 cousins thinking our nan's house was massive when we were younger. All the family would turn up for xmas and new year and magically all fit and the last time we were all together as adults we literally all were crammed in like tinned fish wondering how we ever all fit inside the house.

Yeah I remember being young and visiting my friends house (she recently moved) and getting lost and saying her house was sooo big. I think it was just one of those houses where the common rooms make a circle and most lights where off so I thought each room was new. 🤦‍♀️ TBF I grew up on an airbase and every house in my neighborhood had the exact layout. My friend moved off base so the house was different. Haha.

This is the answer. Everything is bigger from a child's perspective and Bluey is animated around it

Yup. I remember my childhood mall as this massive structure and when I went back to it recently it was so small.

Even trees that I climbed at the first house I lived in seemed so big back then. Went back decades later to discover how tiny they were — and that’s with over 30 years of growth!

4

u/Sourturnip 8h ago

Yeah but we see it through a camera lens. It is enormous

2

u/spanishpeanut 4h ago

Big, yes, but figure we’re still seeing it from Muffin’s point of view. Her height is lower so the perspective is much different!

I do think that Stripe and Trixy live in quite a well off area and that their house is quite big- but not as large as depicted. We only really see it thru Muffins eyes and kids of thst age see things differently. So the 18 doors might only be 2 or 3 i. Reality

I think about this a lot. I have a 2 year old and she gets so stressed when all the doors are open because now she has to close them all (for some reason). There's only 5 doors, but to her it probably feels like 30.

3

u/croptochuck 6h ago

Let her close the door. Doors close is a great way to slow down fire and ghosts in your house.

Stripe is a FIFO for sure

First in first out?

u/Shirt-Happened 10h ago

It’s bigger on the inside, is all.

u/Longjumping-Buy-3434 10h ago

Stripe must be a fan of Doctor Who then.

8

u/MrSnootybooty 9h ago

Or... Hear me out... Stripe is... Maybe.... A doctor of sorts?

7

u/jdlive13 6h ago

Heh heh, Classic Stripe

3

u/EZ878 6h ago

Doctor who?

5

u/hufflezag muffin 10h ago

Is it blue too?

u/brokenimage321 10h ago

Probably pretty big--Muffin says they've got "lots of couches," implying at least 3.

My headcanon: Muffin isn't running in a straight line. She's running in circles, taking twists and turns, or maybe just running back and forth, which would have been too difficult / distracting to animate.

8

u/Dbgross01 9h ago

I do think it might be a loop because the painting are in the same spot for each hallway

u/hufflezag muffin 10h ago

When trying to describe Muffin's hallways' length.

To add to your analysis, Muffin claims that they have lots of couches.

Pretty big, The Secondary Heelers are quite financially well off.

7

u/asterisk-alien-14 bluey 9h ago

Heck, so are the Primary Heelers for that matter!

2

u/Kidd-Aimeyuki socks 8h ago

In a sense, probably more now that Bandit is more know in his field, but it looks more Stripe and Trixie make mote.

Though personally i have a suspicion that Rad actually has way more finance stability, since he did not seem worried about just dropping his job, and casually saying (i’ll just get another one.” Like he dropped a cookie. Thats a dog who know he’ll be financially okay for a good while.

4

u/Cratertooth_27 5h ago

Rad seems like he quietly has millions in the bank but rarely gets a chance to spend it because he’s on an oil rig. My cousins husband is like this

1

u/Kidd-Aimeyuki socks 4h ago

That’s what I head canoned since he’s always getting the kids the latest toys, witch has to be expensive.

3

u/croptochuck 6h ago

Didn’t he work in the oil field? It’s hella easy to get a job if you’re willing to move/tracel

2

u/Kidd-Aimeyuki socks 5h ago

He worked on an oil rig witch is why he didn’t have a wife.

Now he’s going to get something in Queensland so he’ll be home now instead of only coming during the holidays.

2

u/JackWestsBionicArm 4h ago

I’ve known plenty of FIFO workers with this attitude who also spent every cent they made, so it’s not a guarantee he’s financially secure.

They’re usually right though - they do just get another job and seem to be ok.

But it’s just monkeys singing songs really, I don’t think it’s meant to be that deep.

I’m not going to let a cartoon American monkey’s song hold me back from Analyzations thank yu.

Which kind of surprises me. In the US, academics don’t make squat.

Muffin lives in the backrooms

10

u/Shimmering_Storm91 8h ago

"WE'VE GOT LOTS OF COUCHES!!!" 🤣🤣🤣

9

u/IITommoII 6h ago

It's in the kids perspective, It's like the episode where Stripe gets a new car and Muffin gets her own electric car. We know they only go at walking speed but they're drift that thing at the speed of sound.

5

u/Rysigler 5h ago

Recently got my kid a crazy cart shift by razor. That thing goes 8 mph. That's faster than my walking speed for sure! But yeah, those chunky power wheels style cars would be significantly slower, especially loaded with multiple kids.

u/kumibug 9h ago

in yoga ball, bluey and bingo run down the hall while playing “raiders” and they have a LOT of doors too

7

u/Fluffy-kitten28 7h ago

As big as the plot demands

7

u/mtzvhmltng 9h ago

same thing happens in the Heeler house in Yoga Ball

7

u/LM193 9h ago

I think it's just because Muffin is really little and houses can feel enormous when you're that small. My grandparents old house had a long hallway, and running through it as a small child felt exactly like this scene.

5

u/imtryingometimesike 8h ago

Cartoonishly Big

5

u/WhyLater 6h ago

Same size as the Heelers, according to the episode where they play Raiders.

5

u/Mental-Friendship-87 Snickers 4h ago

We're seeing it from her POV so that might be how she sees it

4

u/smuggler_of_grapes 10h ago

It's pretty clear to me that none of the interior proportions of the heelers houses are consistent. They change between episodes to fit the narrative. Don't think too hard about it.

4

u/dividezero 9h ago

they live in the overlook hotel

5

u/deviruchii 8h ago

In yoga ball the same thing happens when they're playing raiders. Those archeologists are raking it in.

4

u/Vjaa 6h ago

Do we know what Stripe and/or Trixie's jobs are? Maybe they're super rich and have a massive house.

3

u/improvization 10h ago

Maybe this is another scene "from the children's perspective" 😁

3

u/katybee13 9h ago

I thought they lived in a high rise condo.

•

u/Subject_Associate_34 1h ago

That's Nana and Bob.

•

u/katybee13 1h ago

I know that but what about when muffin drops the phone off the balcony and it lands in the pool? It fell several floors.

3

u/jayntampa 6h ago

It's as big as the joke needs it to be

3

u/DAAA_DOOM_SLAYER 5h ago

Muffin does not abide by the rules of time, space, or physics.

2

u/therealschtoo 10h ago

It's like the runway in fast and furious 6. Just keeps going

2

u/One_Criticism_9030 10h ago

Bad day huh Muffin

2

u/BarelyBrony 9h ago

She ran through the backrooms by accident

2

u/Complex_Technology83 9h ago

Well, they do have a lot of couches.

2

u/vokebot 9h ago

Definitely scaled differently to fit the scene lol

Remember the episode where they play “Raiders” with Bandits yoga ball? The girls had to have run past like a dozen doors before diving into a room.

2

u/sarcasticbaldguy 9h ago

It's an homage to a Scooby Doo chase scene.

2

u/ootemmd 8h ago

Lololol

2

u/FrontSafety 6h ago

To be fair, even tiny houses feel massive at that age.

2

u/sonimusprime Cheese and Crackers 5h ago

They've got lots of couches!

How many couch cushions are in the Healer house?

1

u/Flainfan 9h ago

It’s as big as it needs to be.

1

u/kybirdee 4h ago

Well, Stripe DOES got on a ultra-wealthy vacation of luxury.. and he ALSO owns a really expensive pool, so..

whos to say they cant own a entire modern manor/mansion/estate, haha? 😂
