Internship Internship Offer Release

I interviewed on campus for an internship at Boeing about a month ago, and I was wondering if anyone has any insight into when offers are sent out. They told me 2-3 weeks after the interview, but it’s been 4 weeks and I haven’t heard of anyone else receiving offers and I haven’t heard anything after following up with my interviewers. Does anyone know of offers being sent out already? Thanks

If you haven’t heard back as of yet, you might be on the waitlist. That then usually comes out in March. From experience and now a full time employer at the company

I interviewed mid September at my big10 school and I messaged one of the members on the hiring team who said 2-3 weeks. It still says "Hiring Manager Review" on workday for the Engineering Intern position :/

I interviewed on campus for supply chain analyst intern in the first week of September and just got my offer last week. I ended up turning it down and they said they are going to start giving people on their "waitlist" the positions people turn down

My time from application to offer was about two weeks.

Boeing went to my school today but there were no interviews just talking to the representatives. So do they choose specific schools to initiate interviews or do students need to stand out in the fairs for them to ask for interviews? Cuz I just talked with them and that’s it. Like how is Boeing actually hiring interns right now?

No they should have had a req ID for you to apply to.

I mean they gave us a QR code to a portal to apply to the internships. I have already applied, I just wanted to talk to someone in person. But they said they can’t take resumes and there wasn’t any interviews going on. So I don’t really know what was their intention of being here other than tell us to just apply.

It’s so you can have a conversation and for you to ask questions.

When they did onsite interviews at my school (big recruiting university ) they sent out offers within a week after interviewing (for AE/ME/EE at least). Did they say how many spots they were interviewing for and if they had a recruitment quota for your school?

I know return offers and offers for some schools have already been sent out. At least in my very local and limited knowledge, boeing gives an allocation as to how many students of a given major in a given school can be extended an offer. That is to say when offers come out depend on who's doing the hiring for your specific school

Yes, they mentioned having around 14 spots for students at my school, but they are continuing to hold recruiting events post career fair, so maybe they are waiting for those students to trickle in?

Offers usually take a long time at Boeing. There is a hiring freeze going on until early next year for Engineering. I am not sure if that impacts internships though.
