Bone I.D. - N. America Found on the bank of the Rio Grande River, on the state line between Texas and New Mexico.
Could anyone help me identify this skull, please? I found it on the bank of the Rio Grande on the border of Texas and New Mexico after the floods a few weeks ago. At first I thought it was a cat since it was about the size of a large house cat, but then the next day the skull was flipped over and the teeth look like not of a cat. I added a picture of the lump of fur (?) that was closest to the bones.

Advice First Mouse
Found this guy in my garage, I was going to put him in water but looking thru this sub I don't think it'd be good to do. He's soaked about 2 minutes before I took him out. This is my first time handling a carcass, what should I do since he's mostly mummified?

Bone I.D. - S. America Help with id?
Me and some friends where hiking near Santiago de Chile and we found this. To me it looks like the distal end of a rabbit femur, but my friend keeps insisting it’s a bird bone. I’m not sure at all tbh. Can someone with more experience help me to id the species?

Advice New to this. Next steps?
Hi, all! I have a friend that brought me a box of some animal skulls that she got from an estate sale. I'm pretty new to this process, and want to ensure the best way moving forward as we're unsure of just how long they've been sitting.
I'm guessing it wouldn't be a bad idea to degrease them to be safe? I definitely want to brighten them!
Thank you guys!
