Where In The Woods was a dangerous mess that suckeddddd. Bring back Kalliope or bust

nahhhh, dude. witw was fucking sick. it was my favorite place at that fest besides kalliope before they nixed it ): they fucked up putting big names there, i’ve literally never seen anything like 2024 witw and i’ve been going since 2015, so i was there when they debuted it until they took it away. 2025 must’ve been your first roo, bc that shit has never occurred. and bc of the limited space / fenced perimeter, LN should’ve realized that would happen when they booked a headliner-level artist to close it out. lame asf of them to take it away when they could’ve fixed their mistake by booking lower-tiered artists like before

For what it's worth, it was only a dangerous mess that sucked when they scheduled it with like Festival headliner tier acts.

When it was typical afters and late night shenanigans appropriate for the small venue, it was an absolutely magical place...

My whole crew rolled so hard into the next morning from that set. But we was all pretty fuckered walking to that set, our buddy was like "at least it'll be shady in the woods" It was like 3 in the am or something like that. Such a great night. To anyone that was in the woods in that crowd, thanks for the best vibes🫶 That was my first year at roo and nothing will ever beat it

Doubtful considering they stated they had rerouted water run off to that area

2022 was its own edm festival basically.

I was camped on the opposite side of the farm in 2019 and didn’t see it then but I still mourn the Disco Balls from 2022, it was beautiful.

I don’t think it’ll ever return in the capacity it was in its heyday. And for good reason, it was way too unsafe during late nights, people would get too fucked up, and during its proper last year I heard so many reports of sexual assault. The first iteration with the art section and game areas was incredible. Would love to see a community area like that built again

Yeah I think a focus around art and community would make that space really cool and maybe incorporate some smaller artist some days but not all days

Exactly this. WITWs was amazing when it was a true art area with up and coming musicians and artists. I’d love to see it return with the 2019 vibe.

Yes would really love like an art maze or something has more art/visual stuff going on.

2019 was really fun

It can be small & also be cool
