Comics It deserves to be said here, too: Rita was amazing in Prime and is my favorite Power Rangers story in a long time
The twist with Rita is the coolest and freshest idea in Power Rangers in a long time. Honestly, the whole series was an amazing take on the mythology, giving us an antagonistic Eltarian faction, the addition of the VR Troopers, and so on. That the series was canceled is more like a Power Rangers Crime, if you feel me, but upon rereading, I am again struck by how great Rita is. She's easily my favorite part of the series. I was hoping the entire time for a redemption arc.
I was not disappointed. She gets to keep her powers and stay as part of the team.
I also loved the reveal later in the series. I want to see more of this character, her relationship dynamics, and where she might go in the future. This series in general is amazing, but Rita really elevates the entire thing.
This design is a 10/10 design, too. So many great covers and interior art throughout. Here's hoping we get even some one-offs or some kind or revisit later on. I want to see more Rita!
If Melissa sees this, thank you for delivering an incredible story for us.

Interesting.
I just started reading the Higgins power ranger run, because I'm also reading his Radiant Black series.
It's been cool. Better than it has any right to be. As good as 8 year old me believed the old show to be
I don't know what the deal is with the seemingly new number 1,2 and 3 i saw at the comic store recently, but I bought them for my son

I literally talked to her yesterday at a convention! She definitely deserves to be praised. Did a fantastic job!

Oooh, I'm Green (Ranger) with envy! I'd love to get to say as much, or pick her brain about some storytelling stuff. At the very least, I would love Ms. Flores to know that this is my favorite Power Rangers stuff since the very original series, maybe as much as that.

I heard this ended because of the rebooted comic and Boom didn’t want both to run together. I was honestly not expecting to like it as much as I did because I really disliked the spin off ranger academy series. It really is hard to make a new story in an established world but I think she really pulled it off. I also think the distribution change effecting the availability of the digital issues didn’t help at all.
I was truly looking forward to this every month and am quite sad it ended. There was so much potential there. I do enjoy Melissa’s work. She also wrote The Dead Lucky with the Massive-Verse.

So I heard, and honestly, the rebooted comic has been a lot less entertaining than Prime. Just makes this worse, really.

The reboot hasn’t been my favorite. It’s the witchblade writer so I hope it gets better. I’ve really been enjoying unlimited

Prime was really good. Melissa Flores has been sharing her plans and things that Boom! didn't allow her to do and sounds fantastic.
I always get sad because we never see that universe and characters grow. I hope see more of the Prime Universe in the future.

Where did she share that? I'd love to read up on it!

You can find that on interviews. She did one a month ago on YouTube. And also in her instagram, for example this video: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdFOCpBSPzL/?stkn=eGlieTFuZnJobnRu

I really enjoyed it. Rita was also my favorite in this series. She was Chaotic but not bad but more like I have to do this to survive it just happens to be on the side of good
