I mean, that too but not just that! This is getting real buzz all over, I know several people who know nothing about Nathan Fielder and they are interested in seeing this.

Just really good, eerie trailers that got buzz.

Street Fighter still has a fairly decent chance of getting over $30m.

This would be a better jump from Thursday Previews to True Friday than Tron from last year, so using that film’s True Friday to Saturday jump it would be a ~$10.5m SAT and then a $6.5-7m SUN. I’d say it’s fairly 50/50, basically needs a >10% jump from True Friday today.

Meanwhile a documentary is getting packed theaters all over USA and Canadian viewers are helping .

I’m so happy that the two female centered films are outperforming whalefall and keeping pace with the videogame movie. There should be variety at the movie offerings.

Not shocking at all Other Mommy is about to drop hard, and I'm a little disappointed with Whalefall. It had so much potential with that teaser.

Fine for Street Fighter if reception wasn’t straight-up bad, but wow amazing for You Can See Everything. I think we’ve got our next breakout performance incoming.

Other Mommy has been tracking closely to Exorcist: Believer all week but this is the first time their dailies have been widely different; Exorcist: Believer did $3.8m due to Friday the 13th. Should be a ~$9m second weekend.

A shame about Whalefall, but the October slate has ended up being more competitive than expected. Just getting swallowed up by the competition.

Not that much. This is a pretty strong true Friday. Could easily be rolling into Sunday at $25M and end up low 30’s for the weekend.
