LOBSTER 🦞 Does anybody remember back when you were very young? Did you ever think that you would be this blessed?
Just a reminder that a little over 2 years ago, we never thought they'd tour again. Now we've had 2 tours in 2 years and I wouldn't be surprised if they do a 10 year SF next year.
Yes, they're getting older. Yes, they're tired. Yes, people who talk or play on their phone are annoying af. Yes, tall people in front of you suck. Especially the ones with their phones up the whole time. Sure, the venue could've been better. I'd also like people to stop yelling about YFW at every quiet moment during Limousine...
However, I think we need to focus more on the fact that we got to be there and see our favorite band play. TWICE in the last two years. AFTER they said they were never touring again. AND they still sound better than some of the other bands we listened to from that time. Jesse isn't going to sound the same as a recording. The venue choice may have been all that's available to house as many people as possible to keep their tour time down because they're pushing 50.
A lot of us are in our late 30s & 40s and we all joke about how tired we are. Now, imagine you're on tour performing a 2+ hour long set with only a day or so in between (or playing 3 nights in a row) for 2 months straight...you probably couldn't do it.
This isn't a lecture but a reminder to be grateful. Nothing is perfect. That's the point of life. I know tickets are expensive but at least you got to be there. Some people are still unable to afford a lawn spot. We are all so lucky. And this isn't even most of our first time seeing them...that's even more lucky.
I know venting feels good, but can we at least also remember that when we were at that show in 2006, we could only dream that we'd be here today watching a 20 year anniversary tour of our favorite album.
PS - Sorry Philly, I know they had to cut Guernica last night but after hearing that line on Monday, it really set in that we truly are the lucky ones.
Grateful to BN. Thanks for showing up for us, even when you said you wouldn't.

LOBSTER 🦞 What a night in Philly!
Yes, the rain delay blew (personally gutted about losing Guernica and Moshi Moshi, but at least I got a ton of songs from YFW!), and Jesse sounded a bit rough, but I still had a blast. At one point, I thought the only time I'd get to see them was when I saw them play TDAG in 2016, so the fact that I just got to see them play it again - just over a year after I last saw them play a nearly three hour set - is a gift. Above anything else, this band's music holds such a special place in my heart, and being surrounded by 14,000 other people who feel the same is pretty damn great.

Philly was amazing
The show was absolutely bonkers. I didn’t take many pictures or videos, but I did take a few. Loved the fact that majority of people kept their phones in their pockets for the majority of the show as well.

Anyone have video of Welcome to Bangkok from Philly last night?
Did anyone get a video of them losing their minds playing their hearts out during WTB last night? Especially when vin and Jesse were on the ground and Jesse started playing with his tongue 👅 ??

I’ve seen a few posts on here about the VB show.
1 incredible - first time seeing brand new after 20+ years. I was extremely surprised and impressed by the bands performance but also the level of production they brought, it was clear that this wasn’t just a band performing but bringing it to life after all this time. There was significant logistics and resources poured in to make the show/tour what it was.
Venue - incredible, this new venue in VB may be one of the best live / concert venues I’ve ever been to. I highly recommend making the drive to see a show there. Superb.
I’ve seen a few posts regarding people saying they felt people around them were chatting / disengaged. I was above the crowd and can tell you that the energy and passion was real. Anyone who says to themselves they felt others weren’t singing along as loud, dancing as much, etc - I can tell you every single song you could hear the crowd - people moshing and moving, crowd surfers during some of their more lively songs.
To see a band like brand new and walk away feeling that the people around you took away or affected your experience is upsetting because from my perspective, the crowds energy was something I absolutely loved.

A photo I took from tonight's show in Philly vs. one that I took with my disposable camera 20 years ago (October 29th, 2006) in Wilkes-Barre 🤯

Brand New Warped Tour Mansfield
Strawberries Tent. If I recall correctly close to the release of Deja.
Started listening to them when recording a cassette mixtape from a local band showcase on Radio 104.1- saw them for the first time at the Webster in Hartford at 5 bands for 5 bucks.
Jesse had the megaphone, was given the tour DVD featuring Dave Matthews "two-step" as the menu music, featuring memorable moments such as American Horse & foam party.
Always been a soundtrack to each chapter in life, and have seen them in 8 states.
Thank you to this band, and the fans, for playing such a major part of my life!
Still torn on going to Boston Roadrunner show- if anyone has a spare ticket to sell let me know!

Skipped the Philly date to go to the Ohio show and I’m so glad I did! Kemba Live is a great little venue that reminds me of the old Electric Factory in Philly. :)

Philly pre set music and shout out
Best part was them playing one of my favorite oldies right before they went on. Better Days by Graham Nash. Such a classic!
And shout out to the annoying af drunk couple next to us that literally had their backs turned from the stage the entire time and the girl was def passed out for a while too. Handle your booze yall cause it gets really annoying and it’s 2026 and we’re all old enough here to

Sad we didn't get Guernica or Moshi Moshi but that SoCo sing-along was great 💚
