Im going to try to keep this short and sweet.
We typically try to keep this sub a bit under control, and keep some level of order.
You may have noticed lately that has been more relaxed.
To be blunt, we (the fans) are in uncharted waters. Were (the mods) all as excited as you are, and to put it simply: were not going to police threads that would normally be counted as spam/multiposts/etc. Everyones excited, and its time to show it.
To be clear, this does not mean there isnt moderation. Dont use slurs, be respectful to others, dont be assholes. TL;DR? Remember youre representing the midwest, and especially Wisconsin.
By all means, though: Have some fun. A lot of us have waited for this for a long time, and at this point, were not going to hold you back. Its time to be the rabid fanbase we are.

Lifelong, diehard fans that never gave up on the brewers but gone before they could see this. This is for them too!
I’ll start - this is my dad/best friend/sports buddy. We listened religiously to games on the radio religiously, especially on fishing weekends. High five for every home run and great play, really miss celebrating this with him. Hope he is enjoying the view from up there!
Who do you wish was here to celebrate?

As a younger sports fan that would love to go I was ready to bust my credit card out and drive up there. I still kick myself for missing the Bucks Finals. But $2,300 for a seat? Were other world series tickets that price?

Hi Brew Crew,
So I’m fairly new to Baseball. I grew up in Germany, now live in the UK and didn’t grow up with Baseball being a popular sport, so it was never really on my radar.
I have been following the Packers for about 10ish years at this point and have somewhat adopted Wisconsin and its sports teams as my ‘Hometown’ Teams - despite never having set foot in the state. (Definitely on top of my bucket list to take my family to see your beautiful state).
I only started watching Baseball this season, and boy did I choose a good season to start.
I’ve enjoyed every moment I got to watch (mostly in highlight videos as a lot of the games start in the night for me!)
The problem is, that I have absolutely no one to share this new passion with!
I lurk on this sub occasionally and enjoy all the love that this team so deservedly receives, and just wanted to share!
Let’s go Brewers, and hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you in a few years time, if I end up making it over!

For my birthday, my girlfriend got me Weird Al tickets for tonight's show in Milwaukee. The timing ended up being super convenient: we would've gone to game 6 if needed, but instead we got some new merch!

I had a friend remind me that Pat Murphy will be managing the all star team!!! Very cool!
But you know what’s best about that?
The All Star game is at Wrigley and Counsell (Greg Clownsell for government name) will be one of the coaches as the hosting manager 😂!

Please review the following as my official application to join The Brew Crew:
I found baseball in my mid-30s. My family wasn’t into sports growing up, so neither was I. In 2016, I watched the Ken Burns documentary series and completely fell in love with the game.
I decided I would follow a team from each league. I picked the SF Giants (I live in CA and could never root for the Dodgers) and the Seattle Mariners. When I was about 4 years old in the early 80s, my family visited some friends in Washington, and their teenage son gave me a Mariners cap. It was my very first baseball cap, and I’ve always had a heart for the underdog, so the choice felt right.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve developed a much deeper knowledge, love, and understanding for this beautiful game. A couple of years ago, my son started playing Little League, and I taught myself how to keep score so I could follow his games closely. Keeping the book made me love the game even more—to the point where I just watched and scored every single game of the NLCS (I've attached photos of the sheets as proof of my nerdiness).
Midseason this year, I had to walk away from my Giants fandom due to front office and organizational decisions that just didn't align with my personal values. That left me rooting for the Mariners, but without an NL team.
That’s when I started watching the Brewers more closely. I fell in love with the heart, energy, and passion they bring to the field. I love their scrappy, underdog attitude. The bunts, the steals, the slaps to the gap in center... this is baseball. This is the style of play I’ve come to love.
… also, my 1966 Bob Uecker card is easily one of my most prized possessions.
What do you say—is there room at the bar for one more?

My connection to the Toronto Blue Jays runs deep and personal. The 2025 postseason changed me for the best. In particular it helped me when it came to the passing of my mom, and go from being an extreme introvert to being more social.
I would do anything to relive the 2025 World Series, even with the knowledge that the Blue Jays would lose in extra innings of Game 7.
For the last few weeks, I’ve been experiencing a major depressive episode, and part of that is because I felt a loss and was jealous that other fanbases would get to make lifetime memories in the same way I did this time last year.
Going into the 2026 Postseason my only hope is that the Yankees and the Dodgers didn’t win the World Series (and hopefully not play in it either).
What I didn’t expect is that I’d fall in love with the Brewers this month. And it’s not just because you swept the Dodgers (thanks by the way), it is your fanbase’s kindness.
It’s hard for me to describe, but your collective excitement about advancing from the World Series is very innocent, childlike, and humble. I’ve lost count of how many of you have thanked me for cheering on the Brewers. I’ve jumped on other teams’ bandwagons and you’re the first fanbase to thank me.
I don’t have a personal connection to Milwaukee, but I’ve suddenly fallen in love with your city and I hope to visit someday.
Thank you for generating my interest in the 2026 MLB Postseason and for welcoming me into your community. I am so excited for many of you to experience your first-ever World Series. I hope you all absorb every moment and I’m confident you’ll make lifetime memories. You all deserve this.
GO BREWERS!
