The one where Dawn summons Joyce back from the dead and Buffy runs to the door to open it and Dawn tears apart the picture.

It caught me by surprise but when all the Sunnydale students fought the mayor!
Something about how all those kids came together for a common cause and the fact that Buffy & the scoobies weren’t fighting on their own and in secret really got me. Particularly after the Class Protector Award at The Prom made it clear that the students were aware that Buffy had been protecting them and that ignoring Sunnydale’s monsters wasn’t an option.

Honestly yellow crayon messes me up. That and Anya talking about fruit punch

"The first day kindergarten." literally pops into my head all the time! I can be walking down the street and suddenly that line will play and I feel my eyes glaze over 😅

I feel like that scene was really earned and it was a huge payoff of their friendship over the years. Really touched me

Also loved the little callback to it in s7 where Xander's Welcome Home sign is in yellow crayon. 😭

Even after all these years that gets me every time.
- But I don't understand! I don't understand how this all happens,
- [starts crying]
- Anya: how we go through this. I mean, I *knew* her, and then she's- There's just a body, and I don't understand why she just can't get back in it and not be dead anymore. It's stupid. It's mortal and stupid. And-And Xander's crying and not talking. And-And I was having fruit punch, and I thought, well, "Joyce will never have any more fruit punch, *ever*, and she'll never have eggs or yawn or brush her hair, not ever." And no one will explain to me why.

Then following it up with Buffy telling Dawn "I don't want to protect you from the world, I want to show it to you" - honestly those two scenes are the crying Olympics

Dawn's breakdown in The Body.

Definitely along with her sitting with Tara's body in "Villains". As well as her "Am I real? Am I anything?" line in "Blood Ties".

She’s so young, barely out of childhood, and seeing her little frame crumble like that just wrecks me.

Sadly not this when she gets the class protector award but when she dies or when Tara dies or when Giles walks up those stairs to find miss Calendar"s body I am inconsolable for hours.litterally weeping my little heart out
This was a warm comfortable moment seeing that all Buffy's efforts were appreciated by her fellow students

"I think horrible is still coming. Right now, it's worse. Right now, I'm just trying to keep from dying. I can't breathe, Wil. I feel like I can't breathe."
Ooooft, I've felt like that before.

Any time Willow cries honestly.
Especially in Passion where you see her reaction to Jenny's death.

Buffy on the bus after killing Angel and being kicked out her house.

The entire fight with Angel was phenomenal, but right after he got his soul back and then she had to take his life basically was just so hard to watch- still is.

Her mom was so low in that episode… it made me cry so hard since I can relate to it some

It's a beautiful scene.
Buffy's reveal she was in heaven makes me tear up.
I don't cry in front of others and I watch with my mom. I have to look up reactions of people watching "The Body" and see them cry in order for me to cry.
The only moments I cried and couldn't hold it in even with my mom there was all on Angel. Winifred and Wesley's deaths. When my mom left the room, I cried over Connor getting his new family. Instantly stopped when she returned.
I didn't react much to Tara's death but I feel empty and saddened by the flay as shitty as that sounds... I made sure to stay turned away from my mom during that scene because I was scared to how she would react. I wasn't sure.
This was three years ago when she showed me the series for the first time. I convinced her to use her Chosen collection box DVDs and Angel DVDs because I love those boxes.

Spike in the series finale. His speech about how he loves Buffy, then sacrificing himself to save the world.
The gut wrenching way Willow cries when she goes to Oz’s apartment after he leaves town. I mean, Allison Hannigan KILLED me. Her pain felt real.
Of course, yellow crayon speech.

This. When it came on streaming I hadn’t seen the show since it came out in real time and this scene put me back at 14 in my childhood bedroom sobbing just like I did the first time 😭 and also The Body second time around because at that point my Mom had passed away so it hit harder.

Pretty much every time she's nice to Spike or he does genuinely good things when still technically evil. Watching them grow and change together gets to me.

Also, this one that nobody has brought up yet, I can only assume because it's too traumatic

It's this one! Also, I was 41 years old at the time, and it confused the hell out of my eight-year-old daughter. 😂

I cried so much with Buffy. So. Not Buffy, but Angel: “I’m not even gonna remember that I loved him! I wanna remember!!” 😭😭😭

When Buffy says "We're not supposed to move the body!"
