Someone once called Buffy a crystalized embodiment of depression by the end of the series, and this highlight reel of her coping with trauma through humor definitely makes me see it that way too.

One of my least favorite storylines is Buffy being responsible for paying for everything when she literally just came back from the dead! Like why wasn’t Willow or Tara paying? That made no sense to me and always pissed me off, haha. And like you’re alive, I would roll up on my deadbeat dad so fast for that cash.

Sarah Michelle Gellar did such an amazing job as Buffy. And she was only 20 when the series started!
