Probably the best answer Calvin can give!

It’s like a perfect parry in a video game, flawless deflection. 🤌

Layout of this strip is fantastic. Makes you really grateful Bill Watterson fought for the extra space on the comics page.

Yeah it’s so simple yet incredibly effective.

This is one of my favorite strips. I love his cleverness and Ms. Wormwood's response

I love how most of these fantasies are just excuses for Bill to show off his dinosaur-drawing skills.

Yes, I know pterosaurs and plesiosaurs aren't dinosaurs.

i love in the aniversery book he was like "i hate my old drawings of dinos! they're so awful and i didn't care. im much happier that i did the research to draw them properly" and god damn he did

I remember reading this as a young man and STILL, to this day as a 40 something, I will use it from time to time to cause people to laugh. I have doctored it up a little - but the genesis of it comes back to this very Calvin and Hobbes comic.

"I live in the great state of Denial - Confusion county."

I like how he goes back to imagination after he's done with Miss Wormwood.

Reminds me of a Peanuts strip where Sally's teacher asked her the same thing and she answered "Uh, confusion?"
