Discussion Do you think Steps' viewership will explode similar to how Swapped did?
Not too long ago, Swapped became the fastest animated movie to have a very high viewership (And it's at the top 10 in general as well). This was probably due to the gargantuan success with KPop Demon Hunters (Especially since streaming has become the main focus for entertainment these days) and as to how it had a cultural impact.
So now I'm thinking, is Steps gonna be the third case of an animated movie on Netflix suddenly gaining a large viewership? We'll have to find out when it releases next month.

Let's just hope it doesn't have bland writing like "Charming" movie

I would say it was a mix of animal character designs, and a generic but well animated plot-twist that caught people attention. I don't see steps having that

Viewership explodes like this on animated movies because of children, I don't think they'll care that much. Not to say there isn't a world where it's so terrible that even they don't like it, but the movie doesn't have to be good by our eyes, Swapped certainly wasn't beloved.

I don’t think this will have a moment like k pop demon hunter or even swapped did like it a Cinderella retelling like one not all of them can be popular. Plus now many movies of Cinderella story we need. I bet others are getting tired of retelling of this story like I am

As long as it’s got some mind-blowing twist. Or an atmospheric Villain Song.
