I wish I could tell you. For the last 98 pages it's been purely a case of me winging it as I go along and just writing and drawing what feels most natural in the moment.
Joke aside why is no one else going off about the amazing perspective work?! I can't even make a freaking panoramic scene, let alone anything like this.
I saw on your Bluesky account that you cat passed. It’s a horrible feeling, it truly feels like a family member has died. I remember when I was going to have my dog put down. They actually died a half an hour before the vet arrived. Anyways I hope the rest of your day is as good as it can be!

If there are expected delays to posting (like today), I will always let people know over Bluesky. I have no intentions of being the type of comic artist to just vanish one day, with the exception of if I just suddenly die. Can't do shit about that sadly.
I know how it feels to lose a pet, my hamster died around four months ago, I made a wooden gravestone (graveplank?) For it, and buried it in my backyard, I still am very sad to this day...
I would love to, but not likely. I've been REALLY neglecting my studies. So I only really have time for Hopefulness right now. I do intend to continue that story, partly because I have plans for it to later merge into the main one, but I can only really work on it when time permits!
First of all I want to express my condolences for your cat. Although is something that I'm yet to pass through life I can only imagine what it is like to lose a beloved pet. Hope you are well and take your time in grief. I, as a person and we, as a community will understand if you choose to take a moment of mourning from making the comics.
Second I want to thank you for making this comic. It has touched many hearts over here and to whoever I share outside of Reddit as well <3
And as a final note I wanted to share some insights a friend had here (he's too shy to comment anything here lmao)

Now that's my part:
Biscuit's making sure Teddy watches and helps a little on it and expies are some VERY social creatures. That will ensure Teddy will have a good meal to eat here and get less hangery <3
One thing I did notice is that Orion is book snark but Biscuit is incredibly resourceful. It almost seems like he’s lived in the caves for a whole lifetime before this one
Orion is a cat. He must be as I’ve seen no other creature capable of ignoring so much noise and continue sleeping besides the domesticated cat

Also yeah I definitely clocked the implication that their handler wouldn't actually cook their food even when it's something that's supposed to be served hot... He deserves the absolute worst and I hope Scraps gets outta there soon too...
Sorry again to hear about your cat... Even when it's expected, it's still heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet, especially one who's been with you for a long time. Take it easy and take care of yourself first and foremost, y'know?
Just wanna say thanks I'm glad you found some catharsis in drawing. I'm always excited to see more hopefulness and I'm glad it's something to do in what is undoubtedly a difficult time. Just, take care of yourself. You're important too, ya know?
I've been considering going back and coloring these pages and adding backgrounds mostly for fun, but I would want your permission before doing that, so this is me asking if that would be okay.

Ok, I get the idea, new food, different experience, etc. so that it doesn’t trigger Teddy’s trauma, but mashed potatoes has gotta be the worst texture possible to give someone lmao
