New T-Mobile co-location

This is the second co- location on this 150 ft monopole after the AT&T co-location earlier this year. I’m guessing T-Mobile decided to add their stuff up here due to high rent on the existing rooftop at the university. Location is 303 South Way, KY

Oh wow, I see the 3rd party contractor rolling up a brand new NOKIA AirScale AVHA [64T64R] - (N41) 2.5GHz [400W] antennas for mid-band 5GUC set at 190MHz in Bowling Green, Kentucky. That antenna has a lot of power, use passive cooling, which is more efficient compared to the older NOKIA AirScale AEHC antenna that came out in 2020.

Cellular Equipment carrier identification from TOP to BOTTOM rack:

Verizon (eNB 234356) + (eNB 534356) [top]:

  • 6️⃣ CommScope NHH-65C-R2B antennas TOTAL with bands; (2, 5, 13, 66) LTE + supports (n5) 850MHz low-band depending on the network configuration, spectrum licenses
  • 2️⃣ CommScope NHH-65C-R2B antennas per sectorl ocated in the MIDDLE of the rack
  • 3️⃣ [Ericsson AIR. 6449-B77D [64T64R] n77 (3.7GHz) c-band mid-band 5GUW antennas set at 160MHz located on the RIGHT side
  • Ray-cap RCMDC-6627-PF-48 used for power surge protection located behind their antennas

Ericsson (RRU's) - remote radio units located behind the antennas:

  • 3️⃣ Radio 4449 - (B5) 850MHz + (B13) 700MHz LTE
  • 3️⃣ Radio 8843 - (B2) 1900MHz-PCS + (B66) 2100MHz-AWS LTE

Legacy MetroPCS:

  • 6️⃣ CommScope LNX-8514DS-A1M antennas TOTAL for legacy 3G (CDMA), NOT FUNCTIONAL
  • 2️⃣ CommScope LNX-8514DS-A1M antennas per each sector

AT&T:

  • 2️⃣ CCI BSA33R-BU8B high-capacity 4x4 MIMO antennas on 1-SECTOR with bands: (2, 12, 14, 66) LTE + (n5) - 10MHz low-band 5GNR located on the LEFT + RIGHT side of their rack
  • 4️⃣ CommScope NNH4-65C-R6 antennas TOTAL on 2-SECTORS with bands: (2, 12, 14, 66) LTE + (n5) - 10MHz low-band 5GNR located on the LEFT + RIGHT side of their rack
  • 2️⃣ CommScope NNH4-65C-R6 antennas per sector located on the LEFT + RIGHT side
  • 3️⃣ Ericsson AIR. 6472 (B77G/B77M) [64T64R] antennas for (3.7GHz) c-band @ 80mhz and (3.45GHz) DoD - 80MHz (Warren County, KY) located in the middle of their rack
  • Raycap DC9-48-60-24-PC1t-EV for power surge protection for the for the antennas, remote radio units

Ericsson Remote Radio UNITS can be spotted BEHIND the antennas:

  • 3️⃣ RRU 4490HP (b12) 700MHz LTE + (n5) 850MHz low-band 5GNR
  • 3️⃣ RRU 4494 (b14) 700MHz LTE
  • 3️⃣ RRU 4890HP (b2) 1900MHz-PCS + (b66) 2100MHz-AWS LTE

T-Mobile (bottom):

T-Mobile will using one of the following antennas for (b2, b12, b66, b71) LTE + (n71) low-band 5G + (n25, n66\) mid-band 5G below *depending** on what is listed on the permit plans, site construction drawing:

  • 3️⃣ CommScope FFVV-65C-R3 antennas with bands: (2, 12, 66, 71) LTE + (n25, *n66) ePCS, eAWS mid-band 5GUC + (n71) 600MHz low-band 5G
  • 3️⃣ CommScope FFVV-65C-R2N23 antennas with bands: (2, 12, 66, 71) LTE + (n25, *n66) ePCS, eAWS mid-band 5GUC + (n71) 600MHz low-band 5G
  • 3️⃣ CommScope FFVV-65C-R2-CM antennas with bands: (2, 12, 66, 71) LTE + (n25, *n66) ePCS, eAWS mid-band 5GUC + (n71) 600MHz low-band 5G
  • 3️⃣ Ericsson 840590966 antennas with bands: (2, 12, 66, 71) LTE + (n25, *n66) ePCS, eAWS mid-band 5GUC + (n71) 600MHz low-band 5G

For (n41) 2.5GHz mid-band 5G, I'm 100% confident T-Mobile is going to use:

  • 3️⃣ NOKIA AirScale AVHA [64T64R] - (N41) 2.5GHz [400W] antennas for mid-band 5GUC set at 190MHz in Bowling Green, Kentucky

T-Mobile will be using the newer Nokia (RRU's) - remote radio units behind the antennas once all the antennas, remote radio units (RRU's)/equipment is added:

  • 3️⃣ AirScale AHLOB - (b12) 700MHz + (b71) 600MHz LTE + (n71) low-band 5G
  • 3️⃣ AirScale AHFII - (b2) 1900MHz-PCS + (b66) 2100MHz-AWS LTE + (n25, n266) ePCS/eAWS - mid-band 5G

Do you know if T-Mobile added the microwave dish (or was it existing)?

The microwave dish was originally put there for Bluegrass cellular, as they were the builders of this site before Verizon took them over. It is not active anymore as the license was canceled a few years ago.
