Bushwalk Recs

Hi Guys. Any recommendations for bush walks at the Wyong end of town. Live in Buff Point and keen to get out there

Some of my favourites:

Wyrrabalong north has sand dunes covered in angophera trees (red gum forest).

Munmorah is a wonderland.

The Great North Walk will take you to some interesting spots through the hinterland.

The Watagans is pretty spec

The Windy app is good for trails and topo lines

Munmorah is amazing! The views are even better than RNP in Sydney in my opinion :)

This has been an awesome resource for specifically coastie walk. Can sort by waterfall/difficulty/length etc.

Personally I just use the All Trails app/site.

Wallarah National Park and Munmorah State Conservation area are great near you.

Mount Alison Reserve near Jilliby is nice but quite short.

If you’re up for a good view it’s worth the drive and walk up to Heaton Lookout in Watagan State Forest. Park at the Ampol and trek up the hill. Rather short in distance but it’s steep!

If you're at Buff Point, definitely check out some of the tracks around Munmorah State Conservation Area. Some really nice bush and coastal walks up that way and not too far from you.
