Charlotte - The only 0-6 team here, the 49ers have to resort to putting their banner in the Charlotte Airport and making it out of flypaper to get a victory. Hey, let him have this moment.
Northern Illinois - The Huskies are having a very forgettable season. In fact, it's so forgettable that he remembered when Maryland was in the ACC.
UL-Monroe - After losing to SE Louisiana earlier this season, the Warhawks get ready for another in-state school in Louisiana Tech before the November 12th showdown with archrival UL-Lafayette.
UTEP - The Miners found out that pillow fights can be serious business as they lost the Pillow Fight of the Week of the Year to Nevada. The Wolfpack did bring in the heavy artillery, though.
Sacramento State - Bowling Green has won two in row and has now become Wimpy. Guys, stop giving the Falcons hamburgers. You know he won't pay you until next Tuesday.
Ball State - The Cardinals were paid $875,000 to get smacked around by Northwestern in their new $875 million dollar stadium, so of course he's stealing the towels and soap. The Wildcats can afford it.
Akron - The Zips have their eyes set on next weekend's Wagon Wheel game with archrival Kent State. But first... Miami of Ohio.
Missouri State - The Bears just won their pillow fight and unlike, UTEP, the pillows were stuffed with goose feathers and not, you know, heavy metallic objects like TUNGSTEN BALLS!
Rutgers - As they play Maryland this weekend, it's a reminder for both schools that they play in the "Hey, has Michigan and Ohio State sent us the TV Money check Classic presented by JG Wentworth." Needless to say, Rutgers (and myself) have nightmares about their commercials.
Texas - In the Coveted Fifth Spot (TM) this week is Texas, who lost their rivalry game to Oklahoma AND had their horns sawed off to be used as novelty cups for the Tropical Coco Fresca (winner of the Big Tex Award for New Drink). Sooner also gets a Burger Chop Tater Taco and a Chocolate Corny Dog for the road (Winners of the Big Tex Award for New Dish and New Dessert respectively).
