I'd go out on a limb and say Mizzou would be the comp they are using. Best games are against a few solid but not high ranked team's (if ranked at all) and their loss is to the best team on their schedule. Mizzou isn't Top 15 any more but at 16 its close enough.

I mean Miss St. was 4-0 and had a ranked win over Arizona State and never got ranked themselves.

Missouri is also coming off a much better year and returning talent than Washington who was pretty abysmal last year.

They have the same record and number of ranked wins (0) as Tennessee but they have a higher SOR and SOS. How exactly does that work?

Texas lost by one score lol. But I guess losing 24-6 at home is a better showing than losing 14-7 on the road.

Right…playing different teams. If they had to play 6 ranked opponents like Alabama does. I’m not sure they’re 5-1. They lost to the only ranked one they played.
