Any money he raises will work itself into his wife’s non-profit. It’s all a grift.

What’s crazy is that Johnson still has a solid voting block, I feel like Mendoza and Gian could split the same voting block. Wouldn’t be surprised if Holberg eats into that as well.
Johnson could advance to the runoff with 30%

It’s certainly possible! But Johnson will get slaughtered in a runoff.

Gian lost to a republican the last time he ran for a big office, he has a chance to lose to anyone 😂
I do think if Mendoza wins, Johnson has a clear shot at reelection. Mendoza is supported by the FOP and is right leaning.
Johnson has been pushed up in the polls by the Anti-Trump/Anti-Ice speeches he has been giving. I am far from a Johnson voter, but I think it’s going to be a lot closer than people realize.

Johnson has a very strong (maybe small) voting block that could really carry him, especially if he makes it through as the only “progressive” candidate

With Chicago’s DSA chapter yes? The only thing they’re good at is pissing everyone off. My alder is a “leftist progressive” and couldn’t be more useless

I’m starting to think people might not want a second term
In seriousness though, where is Giannoulias getting all this money? He’s literally already been running ads for the last couple months
