Analytics Bulls held opponents to 30.7% from three this preseason while shooting 37.9% themselves. +27 FGA, +27 3PA, and +1.9 opportunities/100 pos, ranked #11

Pretty encouraging numbers considering some people were calling this one of the worst team in the league and I think preseason showed this team has some decent possession and shot generation and will do much better in regular season than some think. ranked #6 in offensive rebounds also which is a big stat these days source: https://possessionbattle.com/?team=chi#/

Idt the held opponents to stat has a ton of validity to it but what they shot/oreb is v good

Somewhat agree, it's not a large sample and it is just preseason but given we are often giving opposition teams 3-4 guys with 9'+ standing reach to shoot over it does stand to reason that we should be pretty good in this area.

In the pre-season teams play scrubs for more than half the game, we'll have to see in the regular season (specially in defensive terms).

Our offense is not gonna have great 3 barrages but still can space the floor.

all teams play scrubs and bulls had #6 best opponent 3fg% so its just an eencouraging sign I think

Not to throw cold water on your comment but the Bulls played their healthy players and starters every game but faced two teams that sat their entire group of starters twice. We better have done this , hope it continues into regular season.

The Nets had the 3rd best record in preseason and #1 3P shooting in preseason, are we thinking they'll be contenders based on preseason stats?

A lot of preseason depends on how much the team plays their actual starters, a lot of teams like Minny we just face play their 3rd string entire games. Bulls are one of the teams that played their starters all 5 games.

This team is AWESOME (at pre season). I will say though people saying they’re going to be bottom 5 are crazy. They wont be atrocious, and have a shot to be decent.
