Rooftop – Pride of Times
I want to go take some photos. I know it costs 50 yuan to go up, but you can hire a photographer once you're there; online, they charge around 400 yuan, so I want to know if it would be cheaper to book directly.

Chongqing Reccs (Night Life)
assuming your a foreigner, here’s the places you might like that can be a good soft landing into our beautiful mountain city . I’ve noticed these spots are popular with locals and foreigners alike. I understand that for travelers , it might be easier to ease into it by visiting these places to meet some people and learn more about Chongqing!
clearly , this is not an exhaustive list , but the most frequently mentioned of the lot! Go out and explore, talk to locals, look online (xhs especially) and don’t be afraid to venture into the unknown! Chongqing rewards exploration.
—————————————————————————————
BARS
•SHOTS - classic location with great western food, pool, cozy atmosphere. Recent renovations to the outdoor area have created a very nice ambiance.
•Solas Irish Pub - for Guinness lovers, located in a really funky area that has a gritty but warm local atmosphere . This place is next door to Shotgun Pizza, and nearby is a cool music bar called 云山, (Yunshan) . There’s also microbreweries , cafes, and southeast Asian cuisine restaurants that have opened. The two Irish guys that run it are really nice.
•Critical Sip - quite spacious game bar with good cocktails , board games, and some driving / flight simulator thing. Very professional staff and kind owners.
•Li Bai Craft Beer - another recent addition to the city . Lovely beer selection with some European style snacks. Owner / operator is very professional, knowledgeable about inventory, and fun to talk to!
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••===
MUSIC CLUBS
•cici park - fun dance place with a variety of events and genre-focused nights .
•NUTS - they just moved from their iconic deyi fashion mall location this year, which hit hard for some long timers who came to love that sport , but the new location offers really good outdoor seating, a full bar, a dj room and a full concert stage !
Welcome to Chongqing !!!

Pokemon cards (singles) store?
Hi! I'm currently in the Yuzhong District in Chongqing. I've already been to the poke gym (which was really cool) but now I'm looking to buy singles, preferably slabs.
Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding TCG stores on my maps apps.
Can anyone here share some recommendations? Thank you!

Nightclub recommendations?
hey guys I’m looking for recommendations on the best nightclubs in Chongqing. Ideally I'm looking for places that play more western music and are foreigner friendly. I've already checked out Mojar and Class 313. Any suggestions?

Any Ghost Markets or Replica markets in Chongqing?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently visiting Chongqing and flying out on the evening of October 4th.
I was originally planning to order a few specific items online via Taobao/Weidian to my hotel, but the front desk just confirmed that because of the Golden Week holidays, delivery logistics are backed up and packages won't arrive before I leave.
Because of that, I’m looking to hunt for items in person over the next two days. Does Chongqing have:
1) A Ghost Market (鬼市 / Guishi) or proper flea market? Looking for late-night/pre-dawn spots selling vintage goods, oddities, electronics, second-hand items, or old trinkets. Is there anything active right now, especially given the holidays?
2) A Replica / "Knockoff" market? Something with sneakers, streetwear, watches, or bags (similar to what Guangzhou has or AP Plaza in Shanghai). Does Chongqing have a physical market for this, or is it mostly low-tier wholesale?
If any of these exist, please share the Chinese names or metro stations so I can plug them directly into Gaode / Didi. Any tips on operating hours would be massively appreciated.
Thanks!

Bars on 9th Street
Hi All. I used to live in CQ like 10 years ago. I'm back and meeting up with a friend in GuanYinQiao for dinner tomorrow. We're looking for a few recommendations for bars near 9th street. I know there used to be bars up in some of the buildings above 9th street, and I know a ton of stuff has changed since I've been here. I'm especially like craft beer places, good mixed drink spots or wine without being too expensive or pretentious. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!!

I have some questions about Chongqing (not a tourist)
Hello everyone, I am from France and I had some questions about Chongqing.
First of all, I wanted to know : if the name "Chongqing" refers to the municipality, what is the name of the city at the conflux of the Jialing and the Yangzi ? Is it Chongqing too ?
What is it like to live in Chongqing (the city) ? What are some of the most prominent features of the city (I understand there is a lot of hills and bridges, and that the city is very vertical).
What does the region outside of the city looks like ? What is it like to live there ?
I learnt about this city today. I am not planning a visit but I must say I am very intrigued by its topography and architecture. It seems nice though.
Thank you !
