Performance Beginner finally practicing a Tàrrega piece! Adelita!

Not looking for feedback at this time. My right hand technique is poor, I know, but I’m going to work on technique this week again. I’ve just gotten lazy lately and slid into old habits unfortunately. But anyways! Here’s a little bit of Adelita by Tàrrega!

I love this piece. It's one of the most simple yet beautiful tunes I can think of.

Sounds good! Especially if you've only been at it for a year! What you could do to improve fluidity is to slow your playing down to give you enough time to get placement and coordination exactly right. Only increase speed when you play it perfectly at a very slow tempo. Also try practicing with eyes closed or at least without looking at the fretboard.

Not gonna give feedback because I’m a beginner. That sounds great and it’s a gorgeous composition.

Do you have the sheet music for this by chance? Sincerely, another beginner looking for more things to learn. Pretty song btw.

I recommend that you watch the Sky Guitar channel on YouTube. It also has a lesson + tab for this piece. This channel makes every piece so easy to play!

Have fun
Yes, you wanna get better & practice & whatnot- I know I certainly do. But having fun is the most important part. Enjoy it- you'll be more likely to pick it up more often

I learned this piece back in highschool and had been trying to remember the name for so many years! Thank you for bringing it back to me. 🙂↕️
Keep up the good work!

Lovely! Also what is the pillow looking thing that you used as support? (P.S I am also a beginner)

Your right hand is not poor. That’s a good, strong, and relaxed wrist position. Keep going. You’re on the right track.
