Meta Thanks

Thank you for this sub. It’s such an odd obsession i have seeing other peoples collections and making me feel less like a freak. As the kid that was wildly unpopular and didn’t like sports, it’s nice to see backup around the world

I can absolutely say that I am 100% surprised this sub has taken off the way it has. Glad you're here!

I'm in the same boat as you, but maybe just a little different. My only friends are ones who share music as our passions, but I'm almost as equally passionate about comics/graphic novels. My inner anxiety makes me think people are judging me for liking comics so that's why I find comfort in this sub and other comic-related ones

I love the reassurance that comic reading and collecting is not dying! when there’s guys who have been in it for years, but also guys that just started this year! That amazes me and tells me the industry is still reaching people.

Looking at people's shelves is fascinating and satisfying because its a manifestation of one's priorities and thought process like little else is.

Agreed! It is great seeing other people’s collections. I have picked up several books based on what I’ve seen on other’s shelves. One thing I hope will change is being able to read all the book names on shelves - seeing a shelf full of books without being able to read the titles doesn’t help much. Great sub! I visit a few times a day looking for new posts.

It's great to hear how much you enjoy this sub, I never liked sports either and comic books were one of my favorite forms of entertainment. I never thought that this sub would be as big as it now, it's great to have you!
