Rhode Island Comic Con Does Rhode Island Comic Con Have Comic Books?

I know, silly question, but it seems comic books are becoming more of an afterthought at these shows. I am thinking about going, but I mainly only collect comic books.

Are there many comic book vendors at this show? Or are they mostly focused on other things?

Thanks guys!

Typically, yes. The Altered Reality Entertainment app has a list of exhibitors.

There are also some videos on YouTube from past events to get a sense of walking the layout. The convention is spread out over three connected buildings. Ice Arena and Convention Center have vendors. We found some nice surprises on the bottom floor of the arena.

There are a few, but definitely not a priority. There's a lot of vendors but there's a big mix - posters, action figures, craft items, DVDs, and comics. RICC is more a modern pop culture/celebrity con than an old fashioned comic con

Comic book vendors have trouble affording conventions now.

If you're lucky Greg White will be set up - one of the oldest dealers on the East Coast - from that area, but now down in Florida - been a comic guy since the early 1970's! Really nice guy, great selection. He has done most of the shows in the past

We can not predict what vendors will have at an upcoming con. Believe it or not, we can’t tell the future
