Con Autograph Question First Convention, How Do I Best Protect & Display Manga Covers Signed by VAs?
Hey everyone! I’m going to my first convention soon and plan on getting some of my favorite voice actors to sign my manga covers. I really want to keep the signatures intact and protected, but also display them nicely on my shelves with the rest of my collection.
What’s the best way to:
- Display signed manga covers safely?
- Seal them in protective cases without damaging the books or signatures?
- Store them long‑term while still showing them off?
I’m thinking something like acrylic cases or sleeves, but not sure what size or type to get, or if there’s anything else I should consider (backing boards, UV protection, etc.).
Thanks in advance!

While you're carrying them round the con floor, I'd suggest possibly getting a small poster tube to store them in. I've started using one when I buy prints at cons and it's stopped them from getting dented/damaged while they're in my backpack all day

Seconding this. I actually found a tube recently that fits multiple prints at once, has a shoulder strap so it's hands-free all day, and is light enough you forget it's there. Great for travel. Way better than cramming them in a backpack and hoping for the best.

Easy, get them signed on the inside instead of the covers!
