Con Autograph Question Autographs

I'm wanting to get a signature on a steel case for a video game. Does anyone have experience with that? If so, how well does it hold up? Thank you in advance.

Find the pen you want them to use and test a small inconspicuous spot on the case

Paint pens, oil based. We used oil based uni pens to write on PCB boards and metal at work and it sticks well. I would maybe test out a few different oil based? I would maybe goto like a used game store if I was completely unsure and purchase a pre-owned steelbook to test on. But generally like a sharpie oil based or deco oil will be your best best. Don't forget to let it dry, let it sit towards 10 minutes to be safe, I would also look into a protector for it so it doesn't get scratched in transit. Again let before very before placing in.
