The amount of people that do not understand that transmen and transmascs exist is baffling to me

That's because mtf generates more disgust in bigots, and thus is the focus of their bigotry and hate propaganda.

Much as they hate lesbians, but not as much as they hate gay men, because gay men are arbitrarily more disgusting to them. On the downside, lesbians also absorb the general background radiation that is their hatred of women.

I'm friends with a FtM, and he got bullied away from his 'inclusive safe space' book club.

This all happened because when he said he was trans, he still looked quite feminine, they all thought he was MtF and was already female presenting.

After a few months he realised that they still treated him as a girl, and confronted them. When he told them that he was a man now, they were confused. Why would someone willingly join the wrong side? Become their enemy. They suddenly felt 'unsafe'.

of course they did not say that literally, I wasn't there because I'm a cis man, and he just told me how he interpreted their reactions.

Mtf generates more hate in bigots, FtM generates hate from radical feminists.

If only the safe spaces in my city were ACTUAL safe spaces, and not just congregations of man haters.

My 'very left wing' ex friends were super accomodating to anyone, which included allowing someone with an untreated personality disorder in our group, but then turned around and trash talked men. The group chat had a specific sticker for "except for [sole guy friend's name]" because they complained about men so much. One time they unironically agreed that straight men should not be allowed in kink, because straight men would never be into something like that except to have an excuse to hit women.

Fucking insane. Tolerance is a circle I guess.

girls kissing and idk just generally being close is normal af while when men just like be near each other too closely are deemed gay and disgusting

masculinity is also seen as more of a default so a woman having masc attire or a lesbian accent is like not gonna be noticable

so ig they really don't mind them being masc and all hntil they say they are trans? with like really disgusting arguments.....
