Had a customer rant to me about Juneteenth and how "the wrong race got a holiday" and the banks should be open. Dude, you're in a grocery store, please stop being racist to me 😭 I'm being paid minimum wage for this

I thought I passed some sidewalk chalk that said ALM in my very quiet neighbourhood but it turned out it was three kids who wrote their initials which just happen to spell A.L.M.

I just moved here. Big sigh of relief.

One of the biggest used car dealerships in Atlanta used to be Atlanta Luxury Motors but renamed as just ALM when they started getting massive. So there are tons of cars in Atlanta with "ALM" stickers. Which confused the hell out of me when they started getting big since like half the people in their cars are Black.

And now I’m remembering the Disney Robin Hood when he was dressed like a beggar and asking for “alms for the poor.” Which is also hilarious.
