Had a customer rant to me about Juneteenth and how "the wrong race got a holiday" and the banks should be open. Dude, you're in a grocery store, please stop being racist to me 😭 I'm being paid minimum wage for this

I'm fine with Juneteenth as a holiday but the name is bad . Why not Freedom Day or Emaciation Day or follow the 4th of July and call it the 19th of June. So many better options.

Emaciation Day

I mean, many of them were emaciated, but I think you're looking for "Emancipation".

Spelling has never been one of the things I'm good at

To be fair, "emancipation" to "emaciation" has a sort of similar ring to it of converting "June nineteenth" to "Juneteenth"

Honestly, you seem to be above average.
