This is correct for, she has grs comics and other various trans content. But I felt this one personally as I had this exact situation play out with a very different outcome.
Tldr: I was fem dressing b u t male presenting wich lead to confusion at the time. Tsa scanned, decided to search, got incredibly embarrassed by their .mistake and I went about my trip.
Yeah. So thats the funny part! A male was going to search, then went over to his female coworker and had her do the search. She comes up and like looks at me, walks back to the male coworker and I guess said she was uncomfortable with doing the search so he asked me "does it matter who does the search?" And at this point its been like 20 mins and I just went "Dude I dont care, your not gunna find anything thats not supposed to be there, I just wanna go on VACATION!"
There was an article I read that went pretty similarly. They took her to a separate room, but none of the female agents wanted to search a trans woman, so instead she had to strip down in front of 3 male agents, bend and spread.
Female TSA agents should not be allowed to flat out reject a search, unless it's obviously inappropriate. Imagine you're a cis tomboy and you get groped by a man. It's pure fucking nightmare fuel.
