Years ago, I went through security. Put all my stuff in the bin. I had a wallet on a chain (as was the style lol). The agent said I couldn't have the chain. I asked why. He gave me this very stern look and said because the chain could be seen as a threat.
I told him bluntly that its far easier to strangle someone with my 2' shoelaces than it is with a 6" chain. Would he like those as well?
He grunted, went red in the face and told me to move along. I got to keep the damn chain. 😂🙄
I still have that style of wallet, due to wanting to attach it to my pants with a retractable cord. Got one for my dad as well due to him losing his often 🤣
