I'm gonna say that Clockwork Orange builds on its themes then delivers actual criticism while Fight Club flounders at that mudding the overall message.

It's a generational split, I think. Clockwork Orange came out when you were expected to make your point clearly. Fight Club came at a time where it was more permissible to ask pointed questions rather than necessarily provide the clear answer.

Fight Club is a better read than the Clockwork Orange book with all its gibberish.
