Okay, so the meme means Episode 1 as "the first" movie, and not the actual first movie?

yes exactly which is why it is mentioned LOL because first can mean variety of things

Before the sequels came out, a highly recommend order was 4,5,1*,2,3, then 6.

That way you get the reveal, then the fall to the dark side, then the redemption.

*) Skipping the first one is optional. Nothing of value happens except the Darth Maul parts.

You gotta throw Rouge one in there

It was great!

Rogue One was awful.

Thats fine that you think that

I enjoyed it alot

More then some of the prequels by a good margin

Rogue One is for people who are desperate to convince themselves that Star Wars isn't for kids and enjoy unlikable characters and plots that don't make sense.

If you watch the Andor series first it will make much more sense. Of course the Andor series did not yet exist when Rogue One was released but it exists now.

Rouge one came out when I was in elementary school

Thats when I first watched it, and I loved it

Shit can be for a wide variety of audiences

Even if it was for kids that doesn't make something bad - take Avatar the last airbender. It is a kid show that is also highly enjoyable for adults

Yep the 'First'.

Yes, which is why 'first' is in inverted commas in the comic

By why the inverted quotation mark after movie?

3

u/Asheyguru 19d ago

Oh, we call those inverted inverted commas

Honestly you're better off watching 4, 5 then 6 first because otherwise the Vader "reveal" is just nothing. If you already know (and how couldn't you) it's just not a big deal i guess.

Who doesn't know this?

True, but surely some who haven't seen them don't know.
