No I think the top poster is right. This is to discourage sharing of rooms.

This doesn't carry water to me because the vast vast majority of people aren't going to know if this is the case when they book. Unless the rooms are advertised as "Single Room OPEN TOILET VIEW" people are not going to see this and then book an extra room. They're just gonna get to their room and be annoyed.

No, they’re going to get on the phone to their company booking agent and book another room.

I would. I have to travel sometimes for work, and if it’s more than one tech they sometimes try to double us up. I don’t mind that. I DO mind this.
