I work at a hotel with a logo of trees and they made that change to stop people from sharing hotel rooms. It forces them into separate rooms or to upgrade into connecting rooms. It's always about how to make more money.

It's definitely a U.S Issue. Other countries have open air baths and stuff so this kind of thing wouldn't bother them as much but the U.S is definitely a more privacy oriented about nudity so it works to exploit them for more money.

Okay, I maybe wouldn't mind showering in front of a coworker who's trying to not pay attention but taking a massive shit might be a different issue.

As widely known, in France they just shower out on the streets. Nobody cares about little nudity over there
