So women should accept unwelcome advances with grace because men are unpredictably violent and might hurt them?

Hey maybe men are the problem and society at large should generally be harsher on their bad behavior.

Unwelcome advances? What? Even in the comic we arent sure if this is an unwelcome advance or not.

Hell, I have had people assume I'm flirting when Im not. Im sure you have too.

If it seems a little obscure, Im talking about being rude at any interaction as implied by the person I responded to.

I assure you, men aren't approaching women at the gym and putting weights up the woman was about to do a set with for the same reason you help an old woman cross the street. This is is true for 100% of cases, unless she was visibly struggling with it, which the comic and conversations make a point that she was not.
