A Comic about DID - Part 9 [OC]

If you want to help playtest this mod, join our Discord! It features the creation of different "profiles" on one account which each have their individual skin, location, inventory, and their own keep inventory toggle.

You can download this without joining the Discord here, but keep in mind it's still in early beta so there will probably be bugs. The keybind for the alter menu is 'K' by default.

Yes I can't live without google maps even when I was only driving to work at one place consistently, I stopped doing it because I knew where we went but then some other alter got lost lol

How does you working work exactly? Did every alter need to be trained separately?

[u/Mister_Bossmen → u/AConsultativeMind]

I want this question answered. Lol

I imagine there are struggles for individuals with DID and memory related to working

[u/Defiant-Drawing1038 → u/Mister_Bossmen]

I don't have DID but as I understand it, most alters will have access to the memories of the "host" (the current 'primary' self, though not necessarily the original), and the host is usually the person who got the job.

Some alters do not get those memories and would maybe have to be taught separately by another alter who they are "connected" to/able to comminicate with. (Eg if host is A, B cannot communicate with host but C can, C could teach B). The host leaving detailed notes/instructions for the alter to read may also be possible.

If the self/alter who is usually fronting at work is not able to communicate with a significant portion of the other alters, things would likely get more difficult. And if the job gets split between multiple frequently fronting alters who may or may not have good communication with each other or the other parts, it would likely get MUCH more difficult.
