Israel has been militarily occupying Gaza for over twenty years, with daily killing and injury of Palestinian civilians, including children.
even if 10/7 had been twice as deadly it would still only have been a fraction of the death and suffering Israel has caused to people who's only crime was living next to a colonial apartheid state.
You need to look further back in history if you want to get a decent understanding of this conflict. Like, 1300 years further back.
I wrote a really long comment about it elsewhere in this thread if you're interested, but the gist of it is that both sides of the Judaism/Islam conflict share blame and both sides will have to give up their hatred before it can end. Until then we can only give humanitarian and political aid to minimize the suffering of whichever side is suffering the most at the time.
