Politics Hey Israel, most of the world, especially the Irish, is disgusted with what your country is: a land-stealing and genocidal ethnostate that supports apartheid. While not all Israelis are Zionists, there are still enough of them to sicken the world.

Let us never forget that Zionism means supporting land-theft, apartheid, oppression, occupation and racism (as per the Green Party). It means supporting grave injustices to humanity or, more specifically, the dreaded ‘brown people’. The cold hard truth is that if you want to be a true humanitarian, you cannot be a Zionist.

Israel’s genocide has gone on for three years now. The suffering! The destruction! The starvation! The displacement! The slaughter! The amputations!

The people of Palestine have suffered too much for too long. Israel shouldn’t even exist as a country if things went as they should have. The innocent Palestinians have been paying the price for the land that Israel has stolen. Never forget the 1948 Nakba, the time when Israel was founded where around 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes, and where about 15,000 of them were murdered by Zionist militias. And many anti-Zionists speak about this, where most Zionists tend not to bring it up as it makes them look bad.

The IDF has murdered more than 21,000 children. Gaza has the highest concentration of amputees in the world, many of which are children. It’s so sad! It is estimated that 20% of Gazans have been murdered if we consider the mid-2024 Lancet report that projected at least 180,000 Gazans have been killed. Remember, the current death toll is for verified bodies, which doesn’t include bodies still under the rubble and bodies that have been vaporized. All of this points to genocide, which all respectable humanitarian organizations and genocide scholars have concluded to be the case. To deny genocide is bonkers and cruel. Ireland knows a thing or two about genocide. Its population never recovered from the 19th-century famine.

Most of the world knows what Israel is about. It is an illegitimate genocidal ethnostate where Jewish people are considered to be the chosen ones (which is reminiscent of how Nazis considered themselves to be a part of the ‘master race’). Jewish Zionists believe that they are entitled to land that was never theirs because their ancestors used to live there thousands of years ago. These Zionists believe they are entitled to mistreat Palestinians, which is sickening.

And dear Zionists, get mental health counselling. Most of the world knows how deranged you are. Seriously, get help. This post is not meant to stir up hatred towards you all. Anti-Zionism does not mean antisemitism, so stop using that lame excuse so you can avoid answering the tough questions about Israel.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. If you want to be on the right side of history, you cannot support Israel.

Down with Zionism!

Free Palestine!

,ongoing wars, or critical economic negotiations. Because the president owns them...

The trump administration even argues he could sell secret presidental documents on EBAY..

The DOJ attorney also argued that transferring control of records to a future president could allow that successor to release communications embarrassing to Trump's administration.

What the fuck is this country now???

FUCK YOU MAGA FASCISTS

Most telling, Congress passed the Presidential Records Act after Watergate, partly because Richard Nixon sought control of records documenting his own administration's misconduct. The Trump administration is now challenging that very safeguard...

Politics I DO NOT understand what billionaires think the final outcome of all this would be. If nobody has a living wage, they CANNOT buy your products, pay for your services or rent the properties being owned and hoarded. At that point, does the whole thing not just collapse?

Media / Pop Culture Elon Musk's supposedly flying car is just a bullshit publicity stunt designed to bump up Tesla's stock price.

A flying Tesla with thrusters underneath isn't going to be available for sale to consumers anytime soon. They can't make a car like that street legal and imagine all the red tape and regulations required for rolling out something like that. You can't have people flying around willy nilly all over the place and crashing into shit. It's essentially an airplane then. So wouldn't you have to obtain a pilot's license to operate a flying Tesla? Ain't no one getting a flying car for the foreseeable future.

Politics tRUMP admin reverse engineering a law to protect food insecurity. Stores are getting in trouble for trying to reduce the cost 10%, for the needy!

There‘s a law that prevents stores from price gouging people with empty SNAP/EBT. The cruelest administration, of our time, is going after stores who REDUCE a grocery bill 10% for EBT holders, without food credits.

Stores reverse engineered the law to help the needy. The admin , of cruelty, found out and reverse engineered the law, AGAIN, to prosecute any store, that helps a SNAP recipient.

Key Details of the Action

  • The Rule: The USDA cited the federal Equal Treatment Rule, which mandates that authorized SNAP retailers must sell eligible food items at the exact same prices, terms, and conditions to all customers, regardless of how they pay. [1, 2]
  • Why Stores Tried to Help: During a federal government shutdown and temporary freeze/interruption of SNAP funds in November 2025, several independent markets, farm stands, and grocery co-ops (such as the George Street Co-op and Maryland-area farm initiatives like the Farm Alliance of Baltimore) attempted to offer special discounts, matching dollars, or credits to help food-insecure families. [1, 2, 3]

Politics These elections are yet another reckoning for MAGA, & America

About 77 million voted for Trump in 2024; Harris got about 75m, and about 1.5m voted for a third candidate. (CFR)

Almost 90m were eligible, but did not vote (US News & World report)

Only about 30% of the 77 million identified themselves as extreme MAGA. A majority (if not all) of that 30% is Trump’s core base – the Proud boys; the KKK’s; “my neighbor has eaten my cat” & the like.

The rest were:
i) Republicans, who believed that they have vote for their team because that seemed like the loyal thing to do.

ii) Believed that Trump was better for the economy; immigration or whatever.

iii) Trump was the best of bad alternatives, and they could not possibly vote Democrat.

iv) Believed that some of what Trump says, had to be said. ‘They did not always agree with his methodology or how Trump said it, but*…..”.*

The Republican party today has three big problems:

  • The Party is totally dependent on Donald Trump and
  • Trump is too much of a narcissist to appoint an heir apparent.
  • The economy is the ‘tail that wags the dog’ and while one liners like “short term pain for long term gain” are cute on a TV show; they seldom pay the mortgage. There is not only nothing to suggest that it is turning around anytime soon. It is in fact likely to get worse, at least in the next few months.

The question that that every Trump voter in the i - iv category above have to ask themselves is, are they willing to own all of this, & if so at what price. There is no, “I do not agree with Trump on everything*, BUT.. anymore”. There is no ‘BUT’.*

The immorality; the reprehensible behavior; the sheer embarrassing illiteracy; the self-aggrandizement; the open corruption; the Epstein stuff; the fraud indictments; the sexual molestation allegations; the threats to allies; the cuddling up to despots; the particular draw to Vladimir Putin; the Iran war; the juvenile posts; the grifts; the good people on both sides; his part in the insurrection; the assaults on our democracy; the separation of nursing babies, you have to own it all.……& no gas & diesel prices; inflation; the UD debt; consumer confidence is not Obama & Biden’s fault. They are a fall out from a Trump created, bizarre tariff war, & a never ending war in Iran.

Also, hugging a flag on stage does not make Trump a patriot; nor does blanket pardoning insurrections or building monuments for yourself or saying John McCain was no hero “I like people who do not get captured”; calling veterans who sacrificed life & limb suckers; or excluding wounded veterans from public events, because “nobody wants to see” amputees. (American Progress.org) or calling Gen John Kelly a lowlife & a bad general.

It is more reflective of a coward, who himself avoided the draft 5 times, & is now trying to hide his cowardice, by criticizing those who actually served.

So, just to be clear: It is not his economy; it is not his no war policy; it is not his morality; it is not his transparency on Epstein; it is not his great health plan, that replaced ACA; I presume it is not the ball room &, it is not his sense of patriotism.

It also cannot be sense of loyalty – just look at the 20 or so advisors in Trump 1.0, or Marjorie T Green; Pam Bondi, Joe Kent, or virtually every US ally, (in Trump 2.0) who either went from the best of the best to scum, or (in case of allies) found a knife, in their back.

The core MAGA base never had the numbers to elect Trump (ism). He knows that the only way the Republicans win this November, is if he can deter us from showing up, to vote. Sure, he will try other tricks to cry foul, after election day, but all his paths become much more complicated, if the margins are not close. These elections are literally the most significant, in generations. What we want America to look like, is up to us. We cannot afford the luxury of being complacent. Please vote.

Politics To everyone out there in America complaining about getting phone calls, texts, and knocks on your door about the election...very likely, YOU actually are the problem! STOP COMPLAINING AND GO VOTE SO THEY'LL LEAVE YOU ALONE!

As someone who used to work in politics, hearing complaints about being bugged by campaigns is MY biggest complaint, because I know the truth: at this stage of the election, the complaining voter is the reason they're being contacted so much.

The reason these campaigns keep bugging you is because you haven't gotten off your ass and voted yet.

The vast majority of states have early voting or some type of mail ballot program that you can utilize. Campaigns regularly get updates about who has voted and who has not. If they are a well run campaign with up to date data, then they will stop bugging you when they learn that you have voted.

So why the hell haven't you voted yet? The choice when voting is easier than ever this year. Trump is President and has fucked shit up. Republicans are sitting on their hands and not doing anything. And at every level of office--federal, state, local--the Republican politicians in office or aspiring to office are in his cult. If they didn't support Trump, they would have left the Republican party by now.

Ask yourself: is there literally anything that will happen between now and election day that will cause you to suddenly love Trump?

No?

Then you already know how you're voting.

So go vote.

All you have to do is look up the endorsed Democratic candidates in your area (google your state and county name and "Democratic Party" and you'll likely find this info), then request and fill out your mail ballot and return it. Or go vote in person at an early voting site, taking that info with you. Again, you can use Google to find out how.

And if you are in a state like California, Colorado, Oregon, or Washington with universal vote by mail...you probably have a ballot sitting in your pile of mail already. Take it to a drop box or a voting location to turn it in.

Oh yeah, and a final point about mail ballots: if you're voting by mail or absentee, drop off your ballot. NOT just because the USPS might be doing sketchy stuff this year, but also because any mail takes time. The sooner your local Registrar of Voters (or equivalent local entity handling voting) gets your ballot, the sooner it gets processed, the sooner campaigns stop contacting you.

So please, stop complaining and just go vote already! Make life easier for everyone, including yourself.

TL;DR: SHUT UP AND GO VOTE!!!!!!!!

Lifestyle Joking, Jokes, and hurting people

If you say something funny, but it’s maybe a bit critical, a bit risqué, or even controversial it is incumbent upon YOU to say it in good company, in good context, with a solid delivery.

If you make a joke that is, in its substance, racist, demeaning, violent, or otherwise explicitly vile, then you are expressing those things. Maybe the joke could still be funny, but you still expressed those sentiments. You, at a minimum, view those topics as laughing matters if you expect a laugh.

If you tell a joke poorly, but can quickly explain it, then it does not magically suck the humor out of an otherwise humorous comment. Sometimes people don’t have the requisite background to understand “the joke.” That’s a misstep in choosing your company/context, but it’s solvable. Nor is there anything wrong with letting people in on inside jokes, which is a similar concept.

Now—and I don’t know why I have to have lived a life where this needs to be repeatedly asserted—if you tell a joke that is gesturing towards, pointing out, recalling, or repeating things you were explicitly told not to comment on or joke about, then you have displayed a basic failure to consider other people. I don’t see why it is a flaw to view this failure as indicative of someone’s empathy or ability to view boundaries.

And finally, no, I am not fun at parties. I prefer to hang out quietly with small groups of friends or be the host so I can keep everyone fed and entertained with games and drinks. I love everyone’s smiles and laughs, they’re so lovely to be around. My own are a bit rarer when I’m not performing socially and pretending this isn’t how I view humor.

Lifestyle Why is the internet search so fucking useless

They say to be SCARED of the internet because it’s so powerful. Yet when I break my frame, I cannot for the LIFE of me find a frame ANYWHERE online.

Like I promise if I had to find this frame, ANY COLOUR, ANY WIDTH, ANYTHING even resembling what I want in 10 minutes, I would DIE.

Why the fuck is the internet search so fucking useless.

So I go “hmm.. I guess the frame is fine, maybe I can just buy custom glass. I know that’s possible.” Apparently fucking not. Not a single place in Canada has a website that displays their custom glass work. Not a single other person has ever broken their frame glass.

And let’s not forget, let’s say I do find this frame from god knows who, it’ll probably be.. hmm.. let’s say $2,000,000,000?
