What confession would you make to someone if it were anonymous?

I hated my classmate soon after I met him because he claims to have a special condition, and from the beginning I realized it was a lie. He treats us badly and is violent towards us Taking advantage of that, after I overheard him talking to his parents about how he was deceiving us, I started telling everyone the truth, and no one included him in their groups anymore. Now I don't know if I did right or wrong.

TL;DR: The author discovered a classmate was lying about a medical condition and subsequently exposed him to their peers, leading to his social isolation.

A reminder from the mods: keep comments civil. Harassment and personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Do not accuse others of faking confessions — if you think a post breaks the rules, report it instead of commenting.

Honestly I think the violence matters way more than whether his condition is real.

I spoke with the course coordinator, but he has reports and his parents confirm that he has a condition, and that's why we need to have "empathy" with him.

the part that stays with you is him being cruel while hiding behind a fake condition and that would have come out eventually with or without you

Exactly, that's what I think too.

overhearing one chat with his parents is a pretty thin basis for turning the whole class against someone and im curious if anyone else ever heard him admit it

As far as I know, nobody else heard it.

the overhearing part is what makes this different from gossip since you didnt guess you had proof. still weird that it only took one week for everyone to drop him completely though

Your ex was seeing a bunch of people but I didn’t want to break the bad news to you

Yes, I think I need to confront him and set boundaries now.
