Conspiracy time: society is blurring the lines between “laziness” and “burnout” on purpose as a tactic of psychological warfare

If one thing is for sure: Truly lazy people do not give AF that they’re called “lazy”, so the shaming outbursts don’t really work on them

But you know who it does work on very well? The people already struggling to prove their efforts to “society”

Which works by imposing even more on doubt on well-intentioned people about their work ethic and intentions

But it feels like another psychological warfare tactic on purpose: Lazy drug addicts living on welfare and filthy rich elites can both benefit from this shaming treadmill, while honest hardworking Americans have to bear the burden of the shame and high ass expectations

The proselytizing is working as intended.

They want to be able to point to us all and say "look, humans cant handle the workload, but I got a robot I can sell you".

You are right to point out that the biggest losers in this system are the ones doing the right thing, trying to build an honest but modest life for themselves

The welfare class and the rich have one thing in common, both are entitled and don't want to work to earn their portion

Agreed, but unless you inherit generational wealth the rich typically had to risk something to get rich. The entitled people who think they should have money/nice things with out ever risking anything...including their time to actually work are the more entitled of the bunch.

I get what your saying although ounce someone becomes rich through hard work they are in a separate social class and like their whole way of living is entirely different to the peasants. I guess your right in a sense although that would mean peasants can also get those crazy opportunities instead of being denied and tied to their social class. Idk society intentionally dillutes power to make it mysterious and hard to understand

How do the lazy drug addicts benefit?

They get enough food stamps to buy a few pounds of potatoes each month. Luxurious shit like that.

I mostly agree with OP but let's not pretend that unemployed people get any meaningful benefits around here lol.

I don't think they can find potatoes in the inner city, nothing that isn't canned, ultra processed and frozen, and soda.

I don't work to prove anything to society, I work to be lazy and have money to pay others to do things I don't wanna do like mow my lawn, and I WFH and automate my work so I can be further lazy. If someone thinks it's an insult, they are a tryhard. Intelligent people work smart, not hard. The hardest jobs I ever had required little intelligence, just a body that could do repetitive tasks.
