Why do you think our government is tracking and harvesting our data? What’s the end goal?

It’s not really a conspiracy theory anymore that our government is tracking everything we do. Edward Snowden told us this in 2013. I just saw something today about how Facebook was originally a pentagon project and it got me thinking. It’s not like they’re spying on us because they care about protecting children, or stopping us from talking about revolting because all of this already happens and they don’t step in or stop it, so if it’s not really about control then what’s the reason? Are they going to put all of our data on a chip and plug us into a machine and force us to be alive forever? Is it to be used against us in the future? I want to hear your theories

Besides the massive amounts of money, control, and blackmail; it’s a massive science experiment on human psychology, behavior and decision making. Look at the Cambridge Analytica scandal from 2016; they changed hundreds of thousands of people’s Facebook algorithms to show them positive vs negative news to find out what drives engagement and the psychological impacts of different feeds, and now they are doing the same thing on a much larger scale. They get your consent through the “terms in conditions” and they harvest all of your data in order to test out what you will do next so they can eventually use that data for predictive policing to quash any dissent. People might think that the data has diminishing returns, as in the more you collect the less valuable every additional piece of data is but it’s actually the opposite. Data for behavior tests actually have exponentially increasing value since the data points compound on each other and can lead to much more accurate results/predictions.

It’s also the same thing with online phone gambling, it acts as a perfect science experiment for how people weight risk vs reward that can’t be captured the same in a typical science experiment because the risks and rewards aren’t as “real”.

So basically they’re studying us and brainwashing us in a sense to keep us in line and compliant with society and keep being wage slaves?

Shocking, I know.

Yep. Been experimented on since I was a child. In my 30s and still suffering. I pray everyday it will end but they’re even making me lose faith in god when I used to be a spiritual person which is also probably part of their plan…

Global mind control and manipulation of reality to overcome God's will. They don't need implants, I also dont think they can actually win its just mans hubris.

I agree I think they created the internet to dumb us down and keep everyone on the same level of thinking and now it’s even worse the way everything is designed for short attention span with short videos it’s easier to get into doom scrolling almost like a trance. Imagine when they shut the internet off or the entire power grid how many people would die just from being useless and helpless because so many don’t know how to survive without it. Great reset

u/lubbockin 7h ago

I remember the early internet and it being called the information superhighway and instead it just became a big shop.

2

u/alexandrasocialite 6h ago

Wow I was born in the early 2000s but I’m fascinated with the early internet it must have been so amazing to live through that. An era so simple who could have predicted what it would become… now it’s just ai, ads, and agendas every way you look it’s exhausting. They should have stopped progressing technology in the early 2000s it was perfect you could hop online research anything email people then when you want to get back to real life just log off. Now you can never log off

Back in 1997 we used an Amiga online for playstation cheats and looking things up. Even though it was very basic and slow then it was just amazing because it was so new to us.

Imagine searching up anything, and finding an answer without ads or paid things to show up at the top. Anything you were looking for, you could find, without an agenda.

•

u/alexandrasocialite 3m ago

I know in the 2000s internet they had lots of ads on the sides of the screen but hey at least they were artistic and had some originality and a lil whimsy. Now the ads are minimalism just corny corporations trying to be relatable it’s so inauthentic

9

u/r721 7h ago

To be able to predict your behaviour and correct it with ads in case it's incorrect.

Wow this is making me realize why the 80s and 90s seemed so free because they WERE free. Free to have their own thoughts, free to have their own intentions, free to execute their own ideas, free to curate their own reality whereas it seems like we constantly have a thumb holding us down. Thank you

I also just recalled about this:

In 2012, Facebook, Inc. conducted one-week experiment where they tried manipulating people their emotions negatively. It was revealed in 2014.

The leader of the experiment Adam D. I. Kramer, apologized for the experiment and suggested that the results were insignificant and not worth the anxiety that the reports of the experiment.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facebook_emotional_manipulation_experiment

Facebook’s News Feed—the main list of status updates, messages, and photos you see when you open Facebook on your computer or phone—is not a perfect mirror of the world.

But few users expect that Facebook would change their News Feed in order to manipulate their emotional state.

We now know that’s exactly what happened two years ago. For one week in January 2012, data scientists skewed what almost 700,000 Facebook users saw when they logged into its service. Some people were shown content with a preponderance of happy and positive words; some were shown content analyzed as sadder than average. And when the week was over, these manipulated users were more likely to post either especially positive or negative words themselves.

Omg that is insane! I think they still do this I remember a year or 2 ago on Instagram for a week my entire reels feed was people dying like uncensored freak accidents and other people were experiencing the same thing

Dr. Joseph Farrell has an interesting theory which I don't necessarily believe. But FWIW, he believes there is an alien presence on this planet that the government is trying to detect. They're especially interested in DNA readings but other activities might expose them.

Honestly, though, I think that lust for power drives them.

2

u/alexandrasocialite 7h ago

That’s so interesting!

3

u/Eazy12345678 4h ago

yeah no. lol

what do you gain from finding secret aliens? its 2026 you dont think someone would have talked if they saw a secret alien already. everyone has cellphones with hd video cameras

1

u/alexandrasocialite 4h ago

Ancient civilizations literally had depictions of aliens and apparently they’re in government documents. Just because we aren’t seeing them in 2026 or the past 100 years doesn’t mean they never existed. I personally don’t believe in aliens that fly in a saucer but I do believe in demons and shapeshifters

Saving our data to capture nearly the whole of human existence/thought. Then, when all/most of us plebs are killed off they have us “saved” in the form of AI.

We exist to train A.I. models at this point. Making humanity reliant on money is just a means of controlling us. Look at how hard they work to make sure practically nobody lives separate from society at large.

Good luck friends

This is true because I want to go live off grid but it’s almost impossible they make it that way on purpose. Even if you were able to buy land and build an off grid home and be completely self sufficient you still have to pay property tax… but you know how they “have to tell us” what they do? Sometimes I think the same applies with this. They have to let us have a way to break the matrix and find loopholes but nobody does so in a way we consent to being slaves and consent to participating in society but I do believe there has to be a way to break free. If you can find a way to be exempt from property tax then it might be possible maybe if you bury a relative on the land? Or have over 1000 books you can consider it a library but it has to be open to the public

1

u/Stupertard 2h ago

Declare yourself a church and I believe you don't pay taxes. Look at the Vatican they are their own country.

Money and control.

2

u/mreitmaj 6h ago

It’s so they can stop an uprising before it happens…

Remember how Aaron Swartz was way ahead of everybody else with exposing the elites and their pedophilic ways? He was onto Epstein way before anybody else and he was good at organizing the public to take action that’s why they took him out.

Ultimate optimization. Population decrease with selection of wealthy to live. Having a utopia all to themselves with workers and robots running the background day to day things.

Harvesting data they can control you. How you think, buying patterns, direct certain traffic, plan for events, ECT. I think the algorithm is set to have ppl triggered and not focus on essential things. The algo is set to brain rot to numb the ppl and population.

Most ppl are 100% reliable on the system. The original design was to have and make your own systems. They control the food, water, electricity, and basically own you.

End goal is exploitation in the benefit of them. That's capitalism. Labor is exploited for shareholders...

3

u/alexandrasocialite 7h ago

You’re so right about the algorithm and how it influences the way we think… ew I’m getting creeped out like am I even myself with my own thoughts? I’ve been really wanting to get rid of my phone and live my life like they did in the 90s I need to just do it

4

u/imkvn 7h ago

Everyone was made to create.

Living in fear and scarcity is fake bc the US population is 200mill China and India are 4x the US population.

That means mathematically we have enough resources and made to think everything is falling apart...

Yup, brain washed. You can actually go outside and plant enough food in your front yard... It's ridiculous.

Housing only probably costs about 150k-200k in materials. Even less if not regulated and smaller.

Clothing, shoes, phones, Internet is half.... Think about it bc in Asia everyone has everything maybe 1/10th of the cost.

GenX, Melennials, GenZ are getting worked by wealthy boomers.... Bc no free markets

4

u/alexandrasocialite 7h ago

I’ve been feeling this lately. I’m gen z and I’ve been trying to explain this to my boomer grandfather and he just doesn’t get it he calls my generation lazy but I think we’re just clocking out of this reality that’s been setup by billionaires to make us wage slaves.. none of it is real!!! I started a garden this year and so far I was only able to harvest sweet potatoes and loofah gourds but it’s such a beautiful process and makes you realize like we really could have free food and electricity because of solar power and I’ve heard theories that water is really an infinite resource and you can build a cob house for cheap and they’re sustainable like I just believe there’s a natural way to do everything and it’s been made so complicated we just need to unsubscribe from this rat race of society. Thank you for your responses

1

u/Stupertard 2h ago

But we can't fully unsubscribe because we need to own a piece of land which even if paid in full you have yearly taxes.

3

u/Tranorekk9 8h ago

As usual, the monez. They need your data to get you to buy anything remotely in your ballpark, ANYTHING that you may have been searching or wanting to buy. Also, your data can be used to, lets say, make you a scapegoat for somebody so they can easily plant evidence to/on you, they can use your data against you, etc...

There are alot of uses for someones data, some thing that you thing are harmless can be used to throw you under the bus, per se.

Hope thats enough for now cuz we can do this all day.

3

u/alexandrasocialite 7h ago

I think the money is an added bonus… but I don’t think that’s the original intention. I think it’s so much deeper. Yes they do use our data to put ads in our face so we’ll buy the product but isn’t that the equivalent of buying a magazine back in the day? If women bought a fashion magazine they’d put ads for cosmetics and beauty products in their face to encourage them to buy. It’s still the same outcome just digitally now… there has to be more to it especially when you consider that they see predators online and people planning shootings and things like that and they don’t do anything to stop it

2

u/pavelshum 7h ago

They don't need money. The end goal is to predict the future.

2

u/alexandrasocialite 6h ago

Can you elaborate I want to hear more

1

u/pavelshum 6h ago

If you can predict the future you can guide the future.

1

u/alexandrasocialite 6h ago

But don’t they control the future anyways? So why would they need to predict it?

•

u/pavelshum 16m ago

It makes it much easier.

2

u/Kurtotall 6h ago

Governments have always been collecting information on people since the dawn of civilization. Back in my great grandparents day it was all census records and land deeds at the courthouse. What they are doing now is simply a correlation with advances in tech. 50 years from now it will be brainwaves and biological processes.

2

u/alexandrasocialite 6h ago

Why are they doing this to us why do they care they’re humans just like us why would they care about controlling us or are they not human? Money isn’t a real thing it’s a concept why do they care why can’t they just live their life and let us live ours it really only gives one option left and it’s that they’re demons

1

u/Kurtotall 5h ago

To generate a "subversive" data base to justify rounding up citizens for re-education, incarceration, or elimination.

1

u/Eazy12345678 4h ago

the goal is sell us as much product as possible at the highest price possible

they want the data so they can find out what is the max we will pay and how much do we buy

1

u/agnitaaac 4h ago

To recreate a rehoboam like machine (the westworld one). Which means complete control
