In my world, when everyone else is a problem, you’re the problem.

That’s one of the main points in the book about idiots. It’s basically the Disc personality system. So not at all scientific, but it’s a fun read on the plane.

DiSC has never been my fav, but at least it’s not Myers-Briggs.

Personality assessment is not great. It’s also not a good management tool, better to use for self development

I love the Workplace Big Five.

It’s similar. Big five can give you great insights for people to find good environments to put them in and be mindful of pitfalls, but is a really bad way to manage people.

I don’t use it for management practices. It’s an insight into preferences at work, and a good way to illustrate that others have different preferences, which helps to mediate communication issues.

I read that surrounded by idiots book because I was intrigued by the title more than anything and had a long wait at an airport.
Do not read this garbage. It’s complete pseudo scientific and stereotyping nonsense. I was pretty mad I wasted hours trying to make any sense of it before realising jt was a load of shite.

I'll summarise, don't give feedback to people cause most don't like it😅 Otherwise if lacking structure it will give you something to believe and its easy. Horoscope has more signs while this buts people into 4 colored boxes so there's that. Im not gonna bash the book, its 3.6 roentgen not great, not terrible. I've picked much worse books that this

Each title should be followed by “then becoming one.”
