Cookies for my daughters “THREE-Esta” themed birthday party today
I make cookies for my kid’s birthday parties every year, and these are my latest batch for today! Very proud of how they turned out!

Hello, i am looking to do a cookie decorating table as an activity station for kids at my kids birthday party and there will be almost 50 kids. Just wondering what the best icing to use is?
- home made and put in squeeze bottles?
- what kind of icing will store well in squeeze bottles that I can make ahead?
- store bought pre-made squeeze bottles (canada)?
- what brand if store bought?
I am not not a cookie decorator just a mom who likes to DIY and am wondering what the best way to present the icing is that is easy for 2-5 year olds to use!
Thanks in advance!

How do you guys manage to get very good looking and delicious cookies, Im not Americans and we don't have this kind of cookies in my culture but I tried to bake them twice and they turned horrible one time they tasted like egg and another time they just weren't baked inside just crispy from outside and unbaked inside, also how do you manage to get them to that golden brown beautiful color because mine turned so pale. Please please please I need help if u have any recipe, tutorial or even advice share it with me. Thank you 😊🙏

I REALLY struggle w numbers and letters big time. Made especially difficult w out a projector. I usually use cookie transfers for them. But decided today to Yolo it lol They actually came out OK for me! Most people won't understand so I had to post it here. 😂

A gift for a friend. Still working on some things, especially free hand lettering and small things.

Is puffy icing a different consistancy than outline? I am just a hobbyist but I do usually use two consistencies because if I use the same for outline and filling it, it's just so thick. I have some cookies I want to do puffy icing on and I didn't know if I needed to make a third one.
My daughter wanted a hum vampire murder mystery party for her 30th birthday. It's in December so I think I'll be able to find some bat things after Halloween on sale. Most of the Halloween vampire bat type cookies I see are
" cute"... I want these to be more goth. I do have some bat cookie cutters. I was going to make some black cocoa cookies but I wanted some other ones with black and white icing but I need some inspo. Have any of y'all ever done anything like that? I have circle and square cookie cutters. I thought about making a vampire out of a gingerbread man but then that seemed like it would look too cute. I was thinking about making some black and white ones with just her name and 30 on it. I'm not good at thinking up stuff like this. Do y'all have any ideas?

I am testing flavors of icing with my spiced apple cookies. Spiced cinnamon, caramel, and vanilla. Excited to see which flavor pairs best!

Definitely was way more difficult than I expected it to be! The flooding was pretty easy (although I think I used too much), but the piping was very very challenging. I think next time I will practice outlining some shapes on parchment paper to practice my technique. Do y’all find the plastic bags with cut tip to be the best tool for this? I seemed to have more luck without adding the round metal tip.
I like how the ghosts came out!!

I cannot for the life of me figure out the perfect baking temp/time for my 3/8” sugar cookies (they are all around 3 to 4 inches wide). These were baked at 350 (per an oven thermometer that I bought) for 17 minutes, the edges and bottoms were golden brown, but the centers were still undercooked! I like to eat them this way but for customers I want to make sure they’re baked through. I have also tried other temp and time combos but seem to always end up with undercooked centers.
What are your baking temps and times for 3/8” cookies?

I wanted to create a Halloween cookie set that felt more whimsical than spooky, almost like something from a little fairy tale. So I came up with these four designs and brought them to life with royal icing. 😊
Which one is your favorite?
