Local Businesses Hair Extensions in Cork!

I’ve been going to Platinum for the last 6 years or so, but the last time I was in there (getting my extensions fitted for my wedding!) I was treated like absolute shit? The whole vibe in the salon was off and it was just so awkward! In there hours and not even a cup of tea offered
😂 for the money you pay there’s no way in hell I’m going back! so I’m looking for somewhere new..
I’ve heard good things about 3Degrees, but their prices seem ridiculous!!
I’m looking to get a balayage and keratin bonds, around 125g of 20-inch double-drawn hair.
If anyone has any recommendations, and could give me a rough idea of prices for the balayage and extensions, I’d really appreciate it!

I get my hair cut and coloured in Onyx but I’ve heard they are great for extensions too. Amanda is the owner and she’s amazing. They’re based in Frankfield

Oddly enough I had the same experience in platinum lately, it feels like they’ve all become ‘mean girls’ 🙈 I haven’t found a new extensionist yet either but I’ve heard good things about Reeb hair

I feel better knowing it’s not just me 😂 I felt like I was an inconvenience for them? And the whispering and sniggering🫠 I’ve spent thousands over the years as I did genuinely love the vibe and the results before but as you said, it’s giving “mean girl” energy and I’m not here for it

A friend of mine went to @Locksbykayleigh (this is her instah) for her most recent extensions and they are phenomenal! Not sure on the price but defo worth messaging or having a look at her page

I'm glad its not just me as I found it exactly the same. I found them quite cold and unfriendly in there. I almost felt I was invading a private get together 😆 And as you said considering the money we are paying for the service . There are a lot of places that do extensions but if it's gold fever extensions they are even more expensive.
