ADVICE I am new to cosplay!! Please help ðŸ˜
I have bought loads of stuff for it today, all coming tomorrow, but I’m kinda lost. I’ve never done this before. I am cosplaying Near from Death Note, the powder being for covering my eyebrows which he, for some reason, lacks. So far I am just planning to use a pale foundation and white mascara due to his hair colour and skin. Is there anything you notice on the face I might need to use makeup for? What I mean is, I don’t know if I just need foundation or whether his face is more detailed and needs concealer in certain places, contour shading etc. the pic at the end is me, in case you need to see what type of face shape I have, not to mention Near is a man and I am not. Thanks in advance cosplay community!

Glue for eyebrows if you really want to cover them! Look up drag tutorials.
Near has such a young face that any contouring you'll want to do is minimal and I'd be surprised if someone out there didn't do a makeup tutorial for him - maybe just a little shading to make your face show up in pics more, but don't worry about doing too much!

I have glue sticks in that order to try that! It’s just unfortunate cause most of my face is eyebrows

Hahaha aww. No they aren't. But that was funny. You'll be good. Use glue made for it. Not any.

Im going as L this year! Im mixing white into my foundation to look extra pale, and use very light cool contour. Look up masc contouring - I use it under and behind my jaw bone, near the temples, lightly under cheekbones, and the eyesockets. Ill also be wearing circle lenses and adding messy guyliner and accentuating the bags under my eyes.
