Welcome to Version 2.0 of this sub!

Hey y'all!

My name is Chorazin, and on IG I go by sethshootscosplay. I've only been shooting cosplay for about a year now, and I really do love it.

But I was unable to really find a good, dedicated place to talk about the techniques, challenges, gear, and all the other stuff unique to our art. I found that this sub has been lying dormant for years now, and I asked Reddit to let me take it over. And they did!

So let's make this place awesome. Show off your photos, allow for critique, share tips and tricks, show off your setup and chat about gear. Complain about the god awful lighting in convention centers, talk about contacts, payments, difficult situations, whatever!

PLEASE SHARE THIS SUB! Let all your cosplay photographer contacts know this place is back in business.

I’m hoping people will share their tips and tricks, post some con-post mortems, get critiques in their work from other folks who specialize in this sort of photography.

For example, I plan on writing up a report from the day I spent at ThyGeekdomCon on Saturday sometime this week, once my editing of the shots is finished.

I appreciate you commenting and sharing on the posts made so far. I don’t really know how to promote this sub so I’m just kinda hoping activity shows it to more people on their recommended feed. 😅

Ah you'll get there I already shared a bit on some private groups here in Ireland as honestly this is a brilliant idea so hoping more like-minded folks will join and help each other to grow together

Oh congrats on taking over the subReddit! I tried to as well, like 2-3 months ago, after I saw Anna was no longer moderating the sub due to her account being deleted, but was denied due to a pending copyright claim on my Reddit until it was finally settled, and just saw a new post in the Sub indicating people were able to post again, LOL!
