General Discussion Anyone know where this pose is from?

Post image

I was approached by this Jubilee cosplayer and asked to do a specific pose. She showed me the reference pic, but I’m not sure what this pose is called/from? It was making hand hearts with the opposite arms, having the opposite legs together, flat. Then, having another heart made with the other hands by the feet.

Clearly not the parts I’m in. I don’t really follow many anime’s

They are making a heart with their hands. It is common.

I know THAT. I’m wondering about the specific pose with the leg

It is common. I don’t know what you want.

It's just her doing a 1/4 squat standing pose. It's she's probably taller than her partner so she had to squat down. It's not that deep.

She had showed me an image of an anime. So I assume it was something popular in anime fandoms?

It's just a common pose done countless times on countless occasions.

I came in thinking it was going to be the half heart hand half thumbs up hand to I could drop some JWongg lore, but this is a pretty common pose with anime fans and just cosplayers in general.

I tried to mock up the pose with an avatar posing app. (Literally downloaded just for this) Not the best at this, but maybe this helps illustrate the pose better? Legs together like this, with the same side arms making a heart. Then the inside arms making a heart shape as well above the legs.

Do you have some kind of mental illness? This is a very strange thing to be hyper focused on, and thats not even what they are doing, they are just making a heart with their hand and touching their feet together. Stop obsessing over it lmao.

Yes it's just them forming a heart

If the peace sign was made while doing something else specific, sure. It was a very specific pose featuring the heart hands. It’s like saying the Fusion Dance is just finger pointing.
