Leeds School of Business Carrer Outcomes

Hey everyone

I'm a prospective transfer student looking at Leeds School of Business for Finance.

I'm planning on targeting Commercial Banking FP&A/ Corporate Finance and Credit Analysis.

I had a few questions:

  1. Where do most Finance majors from Leeds end up after graduation?
  2. How common are Commercial Banking and FP&A roles?
  3. Are internships in Commercial Banking and FP&A reasonably accessible through the Leeds recruiting ecosystem?
  4. Do most students interested in these careers stay in Colorado/Denver, or do many end up in places like Seattle, the Bay Area, or elsewhere?

I'd especially love to hear from current Finance students, recent graduates, or anyone who has gone through recruiting for Commercial Banking or FP&A. Thanks!

By answering the first question, the rest are answered as well. You’ll end up in tech sales and go from there. Consider yourself lucky if you end up in anything finance-adjacent, let alone commercial banking.
