Yall kill me with these types of comments. Nostalgic for literally two years ago just because yall didn’t think these images would be killing us. What we have is fucking incredible now.

Nope, the repo is here: https://github.com/borisdayma/dalle-mini
I just got codex to install it for me and the mega model gives me very similar results to OP at 5s per image on a 4090. All the classics like "9/11 gender reveal" still work great.

Just a few more years and this will be the prized retro hipster aesthetic that will be considered "authentic".

I miss when AI images were us making Elmo trail cam footage in the woods or something. Now it's a nightmare

Funny how “bad AI” is already starting to look like a visual medium of its own. Give it a few more years and people will be recreating early DALL-E artifacts on purpose, the same way we now chase film grain, light leaks and imperfect color. 😄

I remember asking dalle to make axl hanging out with Bowie and Iggy and it looked warped but correct.

As a photographer, I kind of miss this era. Not because the images were better, but because they were unmistakably AI. Now we’re teaching models to reproduce every tiny photographic imperfection just to make them look less like models. Full circle 😄

First AI think I used and couldn't believe it. Still can't believe it.
